The much-loved crime drama “Grantchester” has been commissioned for a tenth season, with ITV and MASTERPIECE PBS in the US confirming the return of the popular series.

Robson Green and Rishi Nair will reprise their roles as DI Geordie Keating and Reverend Alphy Kottaram, respectively. The ninth series, which serves as a farewell to Tom Brittney’s Reverend Will Davenport and introduces newcomer Rishi Nair, is currently airing on PBS in the US and is expected to air on ITV in 2025.

Al Weaver, Tessa Peake-Jones, Kacey Ainsworth, Oliver Dimsdale, Nick Brimble, Bradley Hall, and Melissa Johns are all set to return.

“Grantchester” is a co-production between Kudos, a Banijay UK Company, and MASTERPIECE for ITV. Banijay Rights manages international distribution for the series.

Filming for the tenth series will commence in July, with audiences eagerly awaiting more details on the show’s return.
