Streaming soap “The Bay” has announced some updates for its upcoming season, including new cast members and changes to the production team. Daytime Emmy winner Darnell Williams and Michael Saucedo, both soap alums, will join the show in recurring roles. Williams will portray psychiatrist Dr. Josef Givens, while Saucedo, the real-life husband of “General Hospital” star Rebecca Herbst, will play Officer Cruz.
The season will also introduce new series regulars Jordi Vilasuso and guest stars Patrick Muldoon, Rhonda Ross, and Gordon Thomson. Real Andrews will reprise his role for the season.
Behind the scenes, Nadine Aronson has been promoted to Executive Producer, joining Gregori Martin and Wendy Riche in their ongoing roles as Executive Producers. The writing team welcomes Dave Rupel (“General Hospital”), Lynn Martin (“The Young and the Restless”), and Anne Schoettle (“Days of our Lives”). Judy Blye Wilson, former casting director of “All My Children” and “The Young and the Restless,” handled casting for this season.
The new season will be released daily this fall on Popstar! TV, followed by a VOD release on multiple streaming platforms.
