How does sports spread betting work?

Sports spread betting works by Spreadex putting out a prediction or ‘spread’ of what we think will happen in a match, race or event be that the number of goals to be scored in a football match, the distance in lengths a horse will win a race by in a horse race or the number of runs a batsmen or team may score in a cricket match. You buy on the spread if you think the outcome will be higher than the prediction or sell on the spread if you think it will be lower.

How does sports spread betting differ from fixed odds betting?

With traditional fixed odds betting you are always risking a fixed amount for a set return. But when you place a sports spread bet with Spreadex, the more right you are, the more multiples of your stake you can win. However, get the bet wrong and you can lose multiples of your stake.
