Jack Greaney was involved in a tragic farming accident on a property at Big Springs on October 24.
The 35-year-old father-of-three was seriously injured and flown to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
Jack died in hospital on Tuesday, October 29, despite having received what his family described as the best medical care and all of the love in the world.
He leaves behind his three boys - Harry, 5, Ted, 4, and Billy, 2 - and his wife Chloe.
"He left us doing what he absolutely loved - being on the farm," a statement released by his family said.
Jack's family has extended a huge thanks to all of the emergency services personnel who responded to the incident, including the paramedics.
Jack grew up in Adjungbilly, on the outskirts of Gundagai, and his family said he had "lived a full life" despite only being 35 years old.
He was described as an adored father to his three beautiful boys, a much loved soulmate to Chloe, an adored son of Glen (deceased) and Cathy, and a cherished brother of Laura and Sam.
"With a genuine heart of gold, Jack was admired by his many mates," the family said.
"He made friends very quickly with his warm, cheeky smile and signature wave."
Jack's loved ones said he was a down-to-earth, gentle, hard working and loyal man with a love of the land, nature and farming - but above all else, his boys.
"Jack and Chloe agreed some years ago that, if the time came, they would donate organs," the family said.
"Jack's final gesture of kindness has saved or significantly bettered the lives of five people. We take great comfort in Jack's gift of life to others."
An online fundraiser has been set up to support Jack's family.
