Larry Shapiro is the new Odd man in: the former CAA agent and Brash Entertainment CCO is taking on the role of president at Oddworld Inhabitants.

This isn't Shapiro's first dealings with the studio, having represented the company as an agent while at CAA. Shapiro takes the role over from Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning, who will return to the creative side of development.

Of course, the great news about this is that not only should it be taken as a sign that something is afoot in the Oddworld laboratories, but that the talk we've been hearing this year of a return of the franchise is not only real, but bigger than we thought.

"We intend to break the model of where games are today in a unique and entertaining way," Shapiro told The Cut Scene.

Sounds like Oddworld fans are in for some interesting times.
