FOXTEL SET-TOP UNIT REBOOT

Rebooting the FOXTEL Set-top Unit (STU) can help resolve a large number of technical problems. Follow the instructions below depending on which model of STU you have.

How do I know what STU model I have? You can look at the photos below or lift up your unit and look at the sticker with model details.

DC420, DC420NF & DS420 | DSN1000 & DCN1000 | DC460 & DS460 | DS250 |
DSN700, DSN720 & DSN720NM

DC420, DC420NF and DS420

1. Press BACK and SELECT together on the front panel of the Set-top Unit.

2. Release both buttons. All lights on the STU should be illuminated momentarily. Wait for a single red light, this will indicate the reboot is complete.  
3. After one minute, press  on the remote control to restore.

DSN 1000 and DCN1000

3. After one minute, press  on the remote control to restore.

1. Press BACK and SELECT together on the front panel of the Set-top Unit.

1. Press RESET button on the front panel of the Set-top Unit for 30 seconds.

2. Release both buttons. All lights on the STU should be illuminated momentarily. Wait for a single red light, this will indicate the reboot is complete.    
3. After one minute, press  on the remote control to restore.

2. Release both buttons. All lights on the STU should be illuminated momentarily. Wait for a single red light, this will indicate the reboot is complete.
