Following much buzz, BIGBANG's G-Dragon has officially announced his solo comeback. The beloved K-pop star is all set to drop his first solo song in 7 years.
BIGBANG's G-Dragon announces his comeback after 7 years
On October 30, G-Dragon surprised fans as he announced his long-awaited return to the music scene. The BIGBANG member revealed that he would be dropping his pre-release digital single, POWER, on October 31 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).Along with the announcement, the legendary rapper shared a sneak peek of the song on both tvN’s You Quiz on the Block as well as his Instagram livestream. "Pump up the power, I'm free yap, yap. Do not waste your time yeah, it's gotta be me. Prove 'em all wrong, I've got all the receipts, I got the power, the power, power up power, I am beautiful because I be myself," the highly awaited song's lyrics go.
On the work front
In December 2023, G-Dragon parted ways with YG Entertainment. Following that, entertainment agency Galaxy Corporation shared that they had officially signed G-Dragon.
