Skill Game Results - Pot Limit Omaha Hi
A lot of fun was had last night, although with 15 minutes left before the start I was starting to get a bit worried, as we only had 3 signed up. We ended up with 13.
I came very close to being the first one out, as I flopped the nut flush, but when the board paired on the river, I couldnt give it up and ended up calling off 1/2 my chips to our eventually winner bayne! I managed to fight back up and get back above the starting chip stack before we went down to one table, where Pirate Lawyer came in with a massive amount of chips. Bayne proceeded to run over the table, taking out 5th and 6th place in one hand, doubling off of Pirate Lawyer the next hand, and shortly after that putting PL out of the tournament. With 32,000 chips to less then 2,000 for myself and Lightning_36, he again took two people out in one hand, finalizing his victory. Take a look at this blog for a the hand histories of a few key hands (His link is over there --------------->).

Skillz Game Tonight - Pot Limit Omaha Hi
Tonight should be a bit faster then the Limit Games, I hope to see you all out there.
Played both of the Tuckfard Opens last night. At both of them I was Chip Leader at some point of the final table. Of course, I didnt cash in either one of them, but made about 1/2 my money back with the $1 Knockouts. I was truly distracted when I found my new favorite tournamnet, althought it is a time consumer. $22 + $2 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo on Pokerstars, which started somewhere between 6 and 7 pm. Signed up for it seeing that it was a SuperStack, thinking I could get more play. Little did I know until I looked after we stared that the blind levels went up only every 30 minutes. With 90 runners, we had only lost 6 after the first hour, and I played above my starting stack most of the night, having a 2nd or 3rd stack for much of the middle part of the tournament. However I had the Chip Leader (which had at least twice my chips at this lowest) at my table after that first hour until I got knocked out. When we got down to 3 tables, probably 70% of the chips were on my table, with me having the 12th biggest stack in the tournamnet, but only the 6th biggest stack at my own table! I eventually finished in 12th, after 5 1/2 hours of play. Fantastic way to work on my Omaha game.

Skillz Game Tonight - 7 Stud Hi/Lo & My Best Comeback
Let us see how many people we can have donking this one up! Always a lot of fun.
Just for fun last night, I played a $11 SNG Omaha Hi/Lo Pot Limit. I played pretty tight early, and with 6 people left, I was still hanging around 1500 chips. I ended up putting another player all in, leaving me with 45 chips, when he hits the one outer to scoop the pot from me. I ended up being all in the next three hands, scooping two and splitting one, and eventually manage to get back to 1500 chips with four people left. Played tight and smart, and managed to watch the other two players without many chips lose leaving me in 2nd place, but with an 11,500 to 2,000 chip disadvantage. I did manage to prolong head to head for about 20 hands, and had worked up to 4,500 at one point, but eventually I lost the heads up match. Still got a $39 payday after beign down to 45 chips, so I was happy!

Cashed in Riverchasers
Played Riverchasers last night as I watch my Redskins look horrible. Fortunetly I play poker better then they play football. Started with Hoyazo to my right, and pushed him off of hands twice early by reraising, even getting a comment from him on on of them. I had overpairs to the board both times, so I was ready to take my chances. Played pretty tight for the most part, didnt float as much as I have tended to in the donkaments, and managed to sneak onto the final table last in chips, but about what we started with. Got really tight as I watched carnage ensue, and suddendly we were down to 4, with three paying. I has less then 1/2 of the 3rd biggest stack as the time, but managed to get my one suckout when I needed it. Played 34o in my big blind, so with a 2/3/5 rainbow flop, I bet with 2nd pair, was raised by the 3rd place stack, and pushed thinking he had over cards to my 2nd pair and OESD. Unfortunetly he had a 5, but I spiked another 3 on the river to suck out with the set. He soon after got knocked out, and I finally went out shortly after with 3rd place and $34.00.

Another nice turn out for the Skillz Game last night, with 19 people playing the Razz-less H.O.S.E. I tried playing tight early, and ended up staying around the starting stack most of the night, until my eventual demise with bottom set in Ohama/8, which really wasnt enough to for me to have gone all in with.

Next weeks game is Limit Razz. That should be a accident waiting to happen.
