The UK's Food Standards Agency says it does not believe UK consumers face any "significant risk" from Irish pork at this stage.

But large amounts of dioxins can have serious health effects, including causing some forms of cancer.

Investigations are being carried out to find out how higher levels of the substance got into animal feed, and therefore into the food chain. Jon Brain reports.
