From the “Pikedale Journal”, a handwritten diary in my posession of my GGGfather Thomas Alford of Drayton and Toowoomba as Manager of shepherds at Pikedale, from March 17 to December 30, 1858.
March 17 Arrived at “15 Mile Station” Pikedale.
Head Station was at about 18 Miles from Stanthorpe.
