Captain Fenton John Aylmer was born on 24 December 1835.2 He was the son of Sir Arthur Percy Aylmer, 11th Bt. and Martha Reynell.1 He married Isabella Eleanor Darling, daughter of George Darling, on 9 June 1857.2 He died on 9 April 1862 at age 26, from an illness contracted in the Crimean War.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 97th Foot.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1

Sir Arthur Percy Aylmer, 12th Bt. was born on 2 March 1858.1 He was the son of Captain Fenton John Aylmer and Isabella Eleanor Darling.1 He married, firstly, Annie Sanger, daughter of John Sanger, on 27 November 1878.1 He married, secondly, Anne Reid, daughter of J. Douglas Reid, in 1885.1 He and Anne Reid were divorced in 1886.1 He died on 5 December 1928 at age 70, without issue.2
He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Aylmer, of Donadea, co. Kildare [I., 1622] on 7 May 1885.1
