     Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fenwick.1 He married Anne Bowes, daughter of Sir George Bowes.1 He died on 8 October 1713, without male issue.1 He was buried on 11 October 1713 at Whickham, County Durham, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Blakiston, of Gibside, in the Bishopric of Durham [E., 1642] circa February 1692.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
