     James Redmond Harrison Chitty was born on 13 June 1928.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Heighway Chitty and Phyllis Margaret Stevens.^2,1 He died on 28 April 1955 at age 26, lost at sea, when the
S.S. Monowai sank on the way to New Zealand.¹
