     Eliza Hazlewood was the daughter of William Hazlewood.2 She married Emilius Clayton, son of George Clayton and Frances Hinchcliffe, on 25 September 1838.1 She died on 3 December 1886.1

     Colonel Emilius Clayton was born on 17 October 1841.1 He was the son of Emilius Clayton and Eliza Hazlewood.2 He married Ellen Pemberton, daughter of Richard Laurence Pemberton, on 14 June 1883.1 He died on 25 June 1921 at age 79.1
     He was Vice-Consul at Van, Turkey.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Professor of the Staff College between 1883 and 1890.1 He retired from the military in 1898.1

     Emilius Clayton was born on 19 June 1884.1 He was the son of Colonel Emilius Clayton and Ellen Pemberton.2 He married Irene Dorothy Constance Strong, daughter of Colonel T. E. Strong, on 26 June 1915.1 He died on 10 June 1967 at age 82.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was with the Military Mission to Poland between 1920 and 1927.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier in 1939.1
