     Sir Henry Robert William Miles, 4th Bt. was born on 6 January 1843.¹ He was the son of Sir William Miles, 1st Bt. and Catherine Gordon.¹ He married Mary Neame, daughter of Frederick Neame, on 12 September 1882.¹ He died on 7 February 1915 at age 72.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Fusiliers.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Miles, of Leigh Court, co. Somerset [U.K., 1859] on 25 October 1898.¹

     Maria Catherine Miles was the daughter of Sir William Miles, 1st Bt. and Catherine Gordon.¹ She married Robert Charles Tudway, son of John Payne Tudway, on 3 March 1846 at Leigh Court, Bristol, England.^1,2 She died on 26 May 1909.¹
     From 3 March 1846, her married name became Tudway.¹

     Sir William Augustus Ferguson Davie, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 April 1833.² He was the son of General Sir Henry Robert Ferguson Davie, 1st Bt. and Frances Juliana Davie.² He married Frances Harriett Miles, daughter of Sir William Miles, 1st Bt. and Catherine Gordon, on 4 September 1862.¹ He died on 18 January 1915 at age 81.²
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was Principal Clerk of the Public Bill Office, House of Commons.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Ferguson Davie, of Creedy, co. Devon [U.K., 1847] on 16 June 1907.²

     Harriott Ellin Miles was the daughter of Sir William Miles, 1st Bt. and Catherine Gordon.¹ She married Robert Thornhagh Gurdon, 1st Baron Cranworth of Letton and Cranworth, son of Brampton Gurdon and Hon. Henrietta Susannah Ridley-Colborne, on 4 September 1862.¹ She died on 7 April 1864.^1,2
     From 4 September 1862, her married name became Gurdon.¹

     Robert Thornhagh Gurdon, 1st Baron Cranworth of Letton and Cranworth was born on 18 June 1829.² He was the son of Brampton Gurdon and Hon. Henrietta Susannah Ridley-Colborne.² He married, firstly, Harriott Ellin Miles, daughter of Sir William Miles, 1st Bt. and Catherine Gordon, on 4 September 1862.¹ He married, secondly, Emily Frances Heathcote, daughter of Reverend Robert Boothby Heathcote and Elizabeth Bridget Wells, on 27 July 1874.² He died on 13 October 1902 at age 73.²
