     Sir Henry Tate, 4th Bt. was born on 29 June 1902.1 He was the son of Sir Ernest William Tate, 3rd Bt. and Mildred Mary Gossage.2 He married, firstly, Lilian Nairne Gregson-Ellis, daughter of Colonel William Saxon Gregson-Ellis and Lilian Kington-Blair-Oliphant, on 1 October 1927.1 He married, secondly, Edna Stokes in 1988.1 He died in 1994.1
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Tate, of Park Hill, Streatham Common, London [U.K., 1898] on 25 April 1939.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was chairman of Rutland Agricultural Society between 1948 and 1968.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Rutland in 1949.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Rutland in 1964.1

     Sir Henry Saxon Tate, 5th Bt. was born on 28 November 1931.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Tate, 4th Bt. and Lilian Nairne Gregson-Ellis.1 He married, firstly, Sheila Ann Robertson, daughter of Duncan Robertson and Joyce Williams-Wynn, on 5 September 1953.1 He and Sheila Ann Robertson were divorced in 1975.1 He married, secondly, Virginia Joan Sturm on 31 January 1975.1 He died on 11 July 2012 at age 80 at Casa Virginia, Carvoiro, Portugal.2
