     Mary Cunliffe was the daughter of Brooke Cunliffe and Mary Pirrie.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Frederic Conyers Cotton, son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Matilda Lockwood, on 9 April 1849.1 She died in 1896.1 She was also reported to have died without issue in 1886.2
     From 9 April 1849, her married name became Cotton.

     He was given the name of Corbet D'Avenant at birth. He was created 1st Baronet Corbet [Great Britain] on 27 June 1786.
