Edward David Stewart Ogilvie was born on 25 July 1814 at Tottenham, London, England.2 He was the son of William Ogilvie and MAry White.2 He married, firstly, Theodosia Isabella Burgh, daughter of Reverend William Burgh and Anne Copinger, on 2 September 1858.3 He married, secondly, Alicia Georgina Frances Tottenham, daughter of Reverend Robert Loftus Tottenham and Anne Dorothea Anketell, on 21 December 1889.4 He died in 1896.4
