     Catherine Blennerhassett was baptised on 6 February 1777.1 She was the daughter of William Blennerhassett and Catherine Johnson.1 She married, firstly, Colonel John Gustavus Crosbie, son of Lancelot Crosbie and Mary Blennerhassett, in October 1796.1 She married, secondly, George Rowan, they had children.1
     From October 1796, her married name became Crosbie.1 Her married name became Rowan.1

     Colonel John Gustavus Crosbie was the son of Lancelot Crosbie and Mary Blennerhassett.2 He married Catherine Blennerhassett, daughter of William Blennerhassett and Catherine Johnson, in October 1796.1 He died in 1797, without issue.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1770.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 22nd Foot.1 In 1794 he killed Sir Barry Denny, Bt. in an election duel at Oak Park and was poisoned by the Denny family (so it is said), falling from his horse as he was riding home from Churchill to Tubrid.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Kerry between 1795 and 1797.2 He lived at Thurloe Castle, County Kerry, IrelandG, (Dunloe Castle.)1 He lived at Tubrid, County Kerry, IrelandG.2

George Rowan1

     George Rowan married, secondly, Elizabeth Raymond, daughter of Anthony Samuel Raymond.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Blennerhassett, daughter of William Blennerhassett and Catherine Johnson, they had children.1 He died on 13 December 1832.2
     He was one of the men who ordered the militia to fire into the crowd at an election rally killing five people. He was tried for murder but not convicted.2 He lived at Rathanny, County Kerry, IrelandG.1

     Frances Anne Wilhelmina Blennerhassett was the daughter of William Blennerhassett and Catherine Johnson.1 She married, firstly, Anthony Denny in 1799, with issue.1 She married, secondly, Col. Sir Edward George Morris in 1814, leaving further issue.1,2 She died on 20 December 1818.2
     From 1799, her married name became Denny.1 From 1814, her married name became Morris.1
