     Sir James Langham, 2nd Bt. was born in 1620.2 He was the son of Sir John Langham, 1st Bt. and Mary Bunce.2 He married, fourthly, Dorothy Pomeroy, daughter of John Pomerey and Mary Seccombe.2 He married, firstly, Mary Alston, daughter of Sir Edward Alston, on 8 December 1647.2 He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Hastings, daughter of Ferdinando Hastings, 6th Earl of Huntingdon and Lucy Davies, circa 18 November 1662.1 He married, thirdly, Lady Penelope Holles, daughter of John Holles, 2nd Earl of Clare and Hon. Elizabeth de Vere, circa 13 April 1667.2 He died in August 1699, without male issue.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northamptonshire between 1656 and 1658.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northampton between 1659 and 1662.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1664.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Langham, of Cottesbrooke, co.
