Maj.-Gen. Turner van Straubenzee was born on 9 August 1838.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry van Straubenzee and Hon. Henrietta Wrottesley.2 He married Florinda Harriette Hamilton, daughter of William James Hamilton, on 11 October 1877.2 He died on 27 February 1920 at age 81.2

Evelina Browne was the daughter of Sir Dominick Browne and Anastacia Darcy.2,3 She married, firstly, Robert ffrench, son of Patrick Begg ffrench and Mary KIrwan.1 She married, secondly, Sir Oliver French.4 She died in 1684.1

Patrick ffrench is the son of Robert ffrench and Evelina Browne.2 He married Christlicke ffrench, daughter of Sir Oliver ffrench, in 1650.1
He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Galway.1 He lived at Monivea, County Galway, IrelandG.1 On 9 June 1658 he was deprived of his estates.1
