Maj.-Gen. Ezekiel Gage was born on 28 July 1819.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert Gage and Catherine Davys-Boyd.2 He married Maria Dobbs, daughter of John Dobbs and Marianne Wallace, on 16 May 1848.1 He died on 3 May 1906 at age 86.1
