     George Home of Wedderburn, younger was the son of Sir David Home, 3rd of Wedderburn and Isobel Hoppringle.2 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, EnglandG, killed in action.2
     He was known in border song with his brothers as the ‘Seven Spears of Wedderburn.1' He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1

     David Home, Lord Crossrigs was the son of Sir John Home of Blackadder and Mary Dundas.1 He married Jean Hepburn, daughter of Francis Hepburn of Beinstoun and Katharine Swinton, on 8 January 1680 at Borthwick, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He died on 12 April 1707.1
     He held the office of a Lord of Session in 1689.1 He was styled as Lord Crossrigs [Scottish Law Lord] in 1689.1 He held the office of Lord of Justiciary in 1690.1
