     Sir Joseph Henry Kaye, 1st Bt. was born on 6 September 1856.1 He was the son of Henry Kaye.2 He married Emily Crowther, daughter of Alfred Crowther, on 23 September 1885.1 He died on 24 December 1923 at age 67.1
     He was diector ofr Kaye & Stewart Ltd, Gledhill Bros & Co, LMSR and Lloyds Bank.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Kaye, of Huddersfield, co. York [U.K.] on 8 March 1923.1

     Sir Henry Gordon Kaye, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 February 1889.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Henry Kaye, 1st Bt. and Emily Crowther.2 He married Winifred Scales, daughter of Walter Henry Scales, on 29 April 1916.1 He died on 19 February 1956 at age 66.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.2 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1910 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1914 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War, in France and Salonika, and was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Flight Commander in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was director of Huddersfield Building Society, and Sun Insurance Office Leeds.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Kaye, of Huddersfield, co. York [U.K., 1923] on 24 December 1923.1

     Sir David Alexander Gordon Kaye, 4th Bt. was born on 26 July 1919.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Gordon Kaye, 2nd Bt. and Winifred Scales.2 He married, firstly, Elisabeth Rosemary Hurtley, daughter of Captain Malcolm Hurtley, on 10 October 1942.1 He and Elisabeth Rosemary Hurtley were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Adelle Frances Thomas, daughter of Dennis Lionel Thomas, on 15 June 1955.1 He died between October 1997 and December 1997.1
