     Margaret Brown was the daughter of Andrew Brown.² She married John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm, son of Robert Hamilton, 9th of Fairholm and Marie Jean Rae, on 22 January 1679.¹ She died on 31 July 1703.¹
     From 22 January 1679, her married name became Hamilton.¹

     John Hamilton, 11th of Fairholm was born on 21 November 1679.¹ He was the son of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.² He married Margaret Roberton, daughter of John Roberton, 15th of Earnock and Elizabeth Hamilton, on 5 September 1706.¹ He died on 14 January 1726 at age 46.¹
     On 7 June 1704 he was declared heir to his father.¹ He was writer in Hamilton and Bailie of the regality.¹

     William Hamilton was born in 1681.¹ He was the son of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.² He died in 1682.¹

     James Hamilton was born in 1686.¹ He was the son of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.² He died in 1694.¹

     Robert Hamilton was born in 1688.¹ He was the son of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.² He died in 1694.¹

     Margaret Hamilton was born in 1682.¹ She was the daughter of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.² She died in 1686.¹

     Marie Hamilton was born on 7 October 1684.¹ She was the daughter of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.²

     Margaret Hamilton was born on 25 October 1689.¹ She was the daughter of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.²

     Anna Hamilton was born on 26 April 1693.¹ She was the daughter of John Hamilton, 10th of Fairholm and Margaret Brown.²
