Reverend Hussey Burgh Macartney was born on 30 September 1840.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hussey Burgh Macartney and Jane Hardman.2 He married Emily Addenbrooke, daughter of Henry Addenbrooke, on 7 March 1872.1 He died on 21 October 1908 at age 68.1

Hussey Burgh Macartney and Jane Hardman, on 7 March 1872.1 She died on 15 May 1900.1
