     Patrick Hepburn, Master of Hailes was born circa 1494.¹ He was the son of Patrick Hepburn, 1st Earl of Bothwell and Lady Margaret Gordon.¹ He married, secondly, Katherine Fleming.¹ He married, firstly, Nichola Home, daughter of Alexander Home, 2nd Lord Home and Nichole Ker.¹ He died on 31 October 1576.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 23 October 1577.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Haddington in September 1516.¹ He held the office of Admiral-Depute on 16 February 1516/17.¹ In June 1526 he harboured certain rebels in his twoer of Boltoun, which was burnt by teh force sent by King James V to tkae them.¹ On 6 April 1529 he had a remission for treasonable assistance given to the Homes.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Berwick on 12 September 1541.¹

     Katherine Fleming married Patrick Hepburn, Master of Hailes, son of Patrick Hepburn, 1st Earl of Bothwell and Lady Margaret Gordon.¹
     Her married name became Hepburn.¹

     Nichola Home is the daughter of Alexander Home, 2nd Lord Home and Nichole Ker.¹ She married, firstly, Andrew Herries, 2nd Lord Herries of Terregles, son of Herbert Herries, 1st Lord Herries of Terregles and Mariot Carlyle.¹ She married, secondly, Patrick Hepburn, Master of Hailes, son of Patrick Hepburn, 1st Earl of Bothwell and Lady Margaret Gordon.¹
     Her married name became Hepburn.¹ Her married name became Herries.¹

     Sir William Mallinson, 1st Bt. was born on 6 July 1854.¹ He was the son of John Mallinson.¹ He married Amelia Louisa Tucker, daughter of Henry Tucker, on 5 June 1878.¹ He died on 5 May 1936 at age 81.¹
     He was chairman of the Justices of Becontree Bench, Essex.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Mallinson, of Walthamstow, co. Essex [U.K.] on 6 July 1935.¹

     Henry Tucker lived at Plumstead, Kent, England.¹

     Amelia Louisa Tucker was the daughter of Henry Tucker.² She married Sir William Mallinson, 1st Bt., son of John Mallinson, on 5 June 1878.¹ She died on 3 December 1913.¹

     Sir William James Mallinson, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 July 1879.¹ He was the son of Sir William Mallinson, 1st Bt. and Amelia Louisa Tucker.² He married Mabel Rush, daughter of John William Rush, on 16 November 1905.¹ He died on 26 February 1944 at age 64.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey in 1933.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County London.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County London.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mallinson, of Walthamstow, co. Essex [U.K., 1935] on 5 May 1936.¹
