     Sir Alexander John Arbuthnot was born on 11 October 1822 at Killaloe, County Clare, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Alexander Arbuthnot.3 He married Frederica Eliza Fearon.2 He married Constance Angelena Milman, daughter of Sir William Milman, 3rd Bt. and Matilda Frances Pretyman, on 6 June 1899.1 He died on 10 June 1907 at age 84.
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)1

     Sir Francis Milman, 5th Bt. was born on 27 October 1872.1 He was the son of Sir Francis John Milman, 4th Bt. and Katherine Grace Moore.2 He married Georgina Maude Emma Wallis, daughter of Thomas Ripon Wallis, in November 1898.1 He died on 10 October 1946 at age 73.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Milman, of Levaton-in-Woodland, co. Devon [G.B., 1800] on 2 June 1922.1

     He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Military Medal (M.M.)1 He lived at Oslo, Norway, throughout the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Milman, of Levaton-in-Woodland, co. Devon [G.B., 1800] on 10 October 1946.1

     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917.1 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1919.1 He was Controller of Gun Ammunition, Ministry of Munitions and Director of Ministry of Supply during the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Milman, of Levaton-in-Woodland, co. Devon [G.B., 1800] on 30 August 1962.1
