     Magdalena Sibylle Prinzessin von Sachsen-Weissenfels was born on 2 September 1648.1 She was the daughter of August Herzog von Sachsen-Weissenfels and Anne Marie von Mecklenburg-Schwerin. She married Friedrich I Herzog von Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg, son of Ernst I Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg and Elisabeth Sophie von Sachsen-Altenburg, on 14 November 1669.1 She died on 7 January 1681 at age 32.1
     She was a member of the House of Wettin.
