Sir Rodney Marshall Sabine Pasley, 4th Bt. was born on 22 February 1899.1 He was the son of Malcolm Sabine Pasley and Nona Marion Paine.2 He married Aldyth Werge Hamber, daughter of Major Lancelot Cecil Bray Hamber, on 7 April 1922.1 He died in 1982.1
He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Headmaster between 1943 and 1959 at Central Grammar School for Boys, Birmingham, West Midlands, England.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Pasley, of Craig, co. Dumfries [G.B., 1794] on 7 April 1947.1

Matilda Sabine Pasley was born on 6 April 1861.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Malcom Sabine Pasley and Emma Louisa Losh.2 She married Maj.-Gen. James Hutchinson Swanton on 15 October 1885.1 She died on 13 September 1932 at age 71.1
