     Herbert Edward Anderdon was born on 20 December 1870.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Salt, 1st Bt. and Emma Helen Mary Anderdon.2 He married Ethel Menie Manisty, daughter of Henry Manisty, on 25 July 1899.1 He died on 10 November 1938 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of Herbert Edward Salt at birth. In 1923 his name was legally changed to Herbert Edward Anderdon by Deed Poll.1

     Ethel Menie Manisty was born circa 1871.1 She was the daughter of Henry Manisty.2 She married Herbert Edward Anderdon, son of Sir Thomas Salt, 1st Bt. and Emma Helen Mary Anderdon, on 25 July 1899.1 She died on 12 May 1966.1
     From 25 July 1899, her married name became Salt. From 1923, her married name became Anderdon.1
