     From 9 January 1906, her married name became Colville.1 From 1927, her married name became Wakeman-Colville.

     Captain Hugh Davenport Wakeman-Colville was born in 1881 at Wrenbury, Cheshire, England.2 He was the son of Hugh Ker Colville and Agnes Davenport.3,2 He married Gladys Louisa Wakeman, daughter of Edward Maltby Wakeman and Edith Mary Buchanan, on 9 January 1906.1 He died on 10 July 1962.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was given the name of Hugh Davenport Colville at birth. In 1927 his name was legally changed to Hugh Davenport Wakeman-Colville.
