     Robert Mowbray Howard was born on 23 May 1854.1 He was the son of Henry Howard and Charlotte Caroline Georgina Long.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Georgina Sneyd, daughter of Reverend Walter Sneyd, on 6 October 1881.1 He married, secondly, Audrey Cecilia Campbell, daughter of Charles Hallyburton Campbell and Evelyn Stuart, on 12 September 1912.1 He married, thirdly, Louisa Felicia Welby, daughter of William Earle Welby and Adeline Fane, on 28 April 1927.2 He died on 2 October 1928 at age 74.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Surrey.1 He lived at Ignors, Compton, Guildford, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He lived at Bluemire, Threlkeld, Cumberland, EnglandG.1

     Major Henry Ralph Mowbray Howard-Sneyd was born on 18 June 1883.1 He was the son of Robert Mowbray Howard and Louisa Georgina Sneyd.1 He married, firstly, Helen Milicent James, daughter of William Dodge James and Evelyn Elizabeth Forbes, on 8 June 1911.2 He and Helen Milicent James were divorced in 1931.2 He married, secondly, Janet Emma Jameson Duthie, daughter of John Duthie, on 9 February 1931.1 He died on 12 August 1950 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of Henry Ralph Mowbray Howard at birth.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1 On 27 April 1950 his name was legally changed to Henry Ralph Mowbray Howard-Sneyd by Royal Licence.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) on 12 May 1950.3
