Sir Thomas Watson, 1st Bt. was born on 7 March 1792.1 He was the son of Joseph Watson and Mary Catton.2 He married Sarah Jones, daughter of Edward Jones, on 15 September 1825.1 He died on 12 December 1882 at age 90.1
He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He held the office of President of the Royal College of Physicians.1 He was Physician in Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria.1 He was created 1st Baronet Watson, of Henrietta Street, Cavendish Square, London [U.K.] on 27 June 1866.1
