Sir John Haket was born between 1275 and 1296.1 He was the son of Sir William de Haket and Joanna Bekergast.2 He married Margaret Stapleton, daughter of Philip Stapleton.1
He lived at Rathrnacarthy, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 In 1302 he is said to have been summoned to Parliament as a Baron.1
