Major David Alwyne Carne Rasch was born on 16 September 1922.2 He was the son of Brigadier Guy Elland Carne Rasch and Phyllis Dorothy Lindsay Greville. He married Lady Elizabeth Anne Somerset, daughter of Captain Henry Robert Somers FitzRoy de Vere Somerset and Bettine Violet Malcolm, on 10 November 1953.2 He died on 27 November 2005 at age 83.3
