It was a nice little drama romcom/slice of life anime. The story is mostly alright, mixing fantasy with a school setting. Sounds generic, but it stays competent through the end. Characters. There is a male protagonist and, depending on who you ask, one or two female protagonists. As for the male protagonist, yes, he differed from other romcoms in that he is actually interesting and mature. In fact, I wish most romcoms had a male lead like this. As for the female protagonists, my choice would be Kodachi Nagi, in my opinion a beautiful, cute, charming and strong-willed girl. Some people would possibly choose Shirasaki Tsugumi, but I think Kodachi was much superior. Animation-wise, it was very pleasing for the eyes, though some may find the colour palette to be, like, a little "washed-off". Voice acting was good, especially Kodachi's.
Overall, a nice little gem that I would say is somewhat underrated. Recommended for romance and slice of life fans.
