Aziraphale and Crowley are ultimately free to be together as they see fit. It is time to decide what they want from the relationship and from one another and how they want to conduct their lives as an "us". Aziraphale knows he wants physical intimacy, but doesn't know how to express it, especially when Crowley doesn't seem very open to the idea. So it is the right moment to see where some experiments of love could lead them...

Aziraphale decides to trade places with Muriel, after all, they're only there because of him. He's now kept captive in the serpent's house until the flowers grow back, but it doesn't feel like a prison.

Crowley is also, at heart, an artistic individual. Whether it is through his first love of engineering, or through his new passion for graphics design, he loves to create and appreciate the creations around him.
When his desire to learn new ways to design and express himself forces himself to reach out to new people, he finds that letting someone in doesn't always lead to disaster. Instead, bringing people into your life and allowing them to love you can make life just a bit brighter.
All it took was an angel to prove it to him.

In the Gilded Age of the USA, the social hierarchy is based on dynamic relationships between alphas, betas, and omegas. After generations of alphas and betas steadily moving to the states, entire parts of the country lack omegas. Very few omegas are born from alpha and beta pairings, and none from two alphas, as such pairings are often infertile. While an omega born from two betas is possible, beta reproduction rates are slow.
Alphas who mate with omegas face a unique risk: if their omega partner dies, the alpha's health can deteriorate. The only way to keep the alpha alive is to mate with another omega, a difficult task in omega-deprived areas.

He would often wonder why others were shown Grace in the face of their malfeasance while he was cast out for a sin he would never understand for all of his days. Before the Garden, before the Apple, was a Child of God, feeling the fear of Her for the very first time and not understanding why.

I wrote this as a way to cope between season 2 and 3 of Good Omens. It's my first fanfic so please be kind!
It's possibly the start of a series if people like it.
This part focuses on Crowley directly after the end of season 2. Aziraphale is not in it as such but is mentioned a lot.
It features Crowley's inner thoughts and lucid dream sequences that Crowley cannot escape. His subconscious mind is torturing him as he tried to avoid his pain and grief of the "The End?"
It has what I imagine Crowley to feel directly after the end.
