    Jason thinks he’s never seen her so hopeless. It’s a strange feeling to have, the need to comfort Annabeth Chase but Jason nonetheless feels it. “We’ll get out. We have to.” Jason says matter of factly to her.

    Annabeth's first quest was her worst one, by far. It didn't really matter that she fought against giants and in wars, killed Luke with tears in her eyes, got her memories wiped. She could never get the sound of Percy's screams out of her head when he was dragged into hell.

    This though, falling into the same place he did with an ally she isn't sure she can trust might take the top spot on her worst quests ever.
