Coffee Shots: Caanan Coffee-House

Summary:

A very short one-shot about Harrow and Gideon living out their Bari-Star dreams. I'm sorry I couldn't get more puns in.

Work Text:

“You can’t roast coffee with a broiler, Griddle”
“What are you, the bean empress? It’ll be fine”
“Griddle, we have put every cent we have into this place and we can’t afford to burn our coffee until it tastes like grave dirt”
“That’s rich coming from someone who thinks a coffee-bean skull motif brings ‘Ambiance’ to a coffee shop.”
Harrow scowled, as Gideon adjusted her sunglasses, hauled the sign outside, and scrawled “Coffee: black like your soul!” on it.
Harrow looked up to find a customer had appeared. He was wearing a black polo-neck that had seen better days.
“Welcome to Caanan Coffee-House - what can I get you?”
“So lovely to see that you’re finally open! I’ll have a tea”.
