NeRSP: Neural 3D Reconstruction for Reflective Objects with Sparse Polarized Images
Abstract: We present NeRSP, a Neural 3D reconstruction technique for Reflective surfaces with Sparse Polarized images. Reflective surface reconstruction is extremely challenging as specular reflections are view-dependent and thus violate the multiview consistency for multiview stereo. On the other hand, sparse image inputs, as a practical capture setting, commonly cause incomplete or distorted results due t… ▽ More

Study of local conserved quantities in the one-dimensional Hubbard model
Abstract: In this thesis, I study the local charges $\{Q_k\}$ in the one-dimensional Hubbard model, which is an integrable system used for theoretical studies of non-perturbative effects in strongly correlated electron systems. I obtained their explicit expressions in a closed form. An expression of the $k$-local charge $Q_k$ for $k > 5$, where $k$ denotes the support, had been unknown in previous studies.… ▽ More

Proof of completeness of the local conserved quantities in the one-dimensional Hubbard model
Abstract: We rigorously prove that the local conserved quantities in the one-dimensional Hubbard model are uniquely determined for each locality up to the freedom to add lower-order ones. From this, we can conclude that the local conserved quantities are exhausted by those obtained from the expansion of the transfer matrix.

On correlation functions in models related to the Temperley-Lieb algebra
Abstract: We deal with quantum spin chains whose Hamiltonian arises from a representation of the Temperley-Lieb algebra, and we consider the mean values of those local operators which are generated by the Temperley-Lieb algebra. We present two key conjectures which relate these mean values to existing literature about factorized correlation functions in the XXZ spin chain. The first conjecture states that t… ▽ More

Matrix product operator representations for the local conserved quantities of the Heisenberg chain
Abstract: We present the explicit expressions for the matrix product operator (MPO) representation for the local conserved quantities of the Heisenberg chain. The bond dimension of the MPO grows linearly with the locality of the charges. The MPO has more simple form than the local charges themselves, and their Catalan tree patterns naturally emerge from the matrix products. The MPO representation of local c… ▽ More

All Local Conserved Quantities of the One-Dimensional Hubbard Model
Abstract: We present the exact expression for all local conserved quantities of the one-dimensional Hubbard model. We identify the operator basis constructing the local charges and find that nontrivial coefficients appear in the higher-order charges. We derive the recursion equation for these coefficients, and some of them are explicitly given. There are no other local charges independent of those we obtain… ▽ More

Explicit Construction of Local Conserved Quantities in the XYZ Spin-1/2 Chain
Abstract: We present a rigorous explicit expression for an extensive number of local conserved quantities in the XYZ spin-1/2 chain with general coupling constants. All the coefficients of operators in each local conserved quantity are calculated. We also confirm that our result can be applied to the case of the XXZ chain with a magnetic field in the z-axis direction.

Noncommutative generalized Gibbs ensemble in isolated integrable quantum systems
Abstract: The generalized Gibbs ensemble (GGE), which involves multiple conserved quantities other than the Hamiltonian, has served as the statistical-mechanical description of the long-time behavior for several isolated integrable quantum systems. The GGE may involve a noncommutative set of conserved quantities in view of the maximum entropy principle, and show that the GGE thus generalized (noncommutative… ▽ More
