Using the~$B^+\rightarrow χ_{c1}(3872)K^+$decay, the $χ_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow ψ(2S)γ$ process is observed for the first time and the ratio of its partial width to that of the $χ_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow J/ψγ$ decay is measured to be $$ \frac{Γ_{χ_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow ψ(2S)γ}}
{Γ_{χ_{c1}(3872)\rightarrow J/ψγ}} = 1.67 \pm 0.21 \pm 0.12 \pm0.04 , $$ where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third is due to the uncertainties on the branching fractions of the $ψ(2S)$ and $J/ψ$ mesons. The measured ratio makes the interpretation of the $χ_{c1}(3872)$ state as a~pure $D^0\bar{D}^{*0}+\bar{D}^0D^{*0}$ molecule questionable and strongly indicates a sizeable compact charmonium or tetraquark component within the $χ_{c1}(3872)$ state.

The value ${r_τ^{\rm Run\,2}=1.076\pm0.013\pm0.006}$ is obtained, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This value is averaged with the corresponding value from Run 1 to obtain ${r_τ^{\rm Run\,1,2} = 1.078\pm0.012\pm0.007}$. Multiplying by the world-average value of the $Λ^0_b$ lifetime yields $τ_{Ξ^-_b}^{\rm Run~1,2} = 1.578\pm0.018\pm0.010\pm0.011$ ps, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the limited knowledge of the $Λ^0_b$ lifetime. This measurement improves the precision of the current world average of the $Ξ^-_b$ lifetime by about a factor of two, and is in good agreement with the most recent theoretical predictions.

Scene Graph Generation (SGG) is a high-level visual understanding and reasoning task aimed at extracting entities (such as objects) and their interrelationships from images. Significant progress has been made in the study of SGG in natural images in recent years, but its exploration in the domain of remote sensing images remains very limited. The complex characteristics of remote sensing images necessitate higher time and manual interpretation costs for annotation compared to natural images. The lack of a large-scale public SGG benchmark is a major impediment to the advancement of SGG-related research in aerial imagery. In this paper, we introduce the first publicly available large-scale, million-level relation dataset in the field of remote sensing images which is named as ReCon1M. Specifically, our dataset is built upon Fair1M and comprises 21,392 images. It includes annotations for 859,751 object bounding boxes across 60 different categories, and 1,149,342 relation triplets across 64 categories based on these bounding boxes. We provide a detailed description of the dataset's characteristics and statistical information. We conducted two object detection tasks and three sub-tasks within SGG on this dataset, assessing the performance of mainstream methods on these tasks.

A study of resonant structures in $B^{+}\rightarrow{D^{\ast+}D^{-}K^{+}}$ and $B^{+}\rightarrow{D^{\ast-}D^{+}K^{+}}$ decays is performed, using proton-proton collision data at centre-of-mass energies of $\sqrt{s}=7, 8$, and $13$ TeV recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$. A simultaneous amplitude fit is performed to the two channels with contributions from resonances decaying to $D^{\ast-}D^{+}$ and $D^{\ast+}D^{-}$ states linked by $C$ parity. This procedure allows the $C$-parities of resonances in the $D^{\ast\pm}D^{\mp}$ mass spectra to be determined. Four charmonium(-like) states are observed decaying into $D^{\ast\pm}D^{\mp}$: $η_c(3945)$, $h_c(4000)$, $χ_{c1}(4010)$ and $h_c(4300)$, with quantum numbers $J^{PC}$ equal to $0^{-+}$, $1^{+-}$, $1^{++}$ and $1^{+-}$, respectively. At least three of these states have not been observed previously. In addition, the existence of the $T_{\bar{c}\bar{s}0}^{*}(2870)^{0}$ and $T_{\bar{c}\bar{s}1}^{*}(2900)^{0}$ resonances in the $D^-K^+$ mass spectrum, already observed in the $B^+ \to D^+ D^- K^+$ decay, is confirmed in a different production channel.

A search for radiative decay of $B^0_s$ mesons to orbitally excited $K^+K^-$ states is performed using proton proton collisions recorded by the \mbox{LHCb}\xspace experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9~fb$^{-1}$. The dikaon spectrum in the mass range $m_{KK}<2400$~{\ensuremath{\,\text{Me\kern -0.1em V\!/}c^2}\xspace} is dominated by the $φ(1020)$ resonance that accounts for almost 70$\%$ of the decay rate. Considering the possible contributions of $f_2{(1270)}$, $f'_2{(1525)}$ and $f_2{(2010)}$ meson states, the overall tensor contribution to the amplitude is measured to be \begin{equation}
{\cal F}_{\{f_2\}}=16.8\pm 0.5\mathrm{~(stat.)}\pm0.7\mathrm{~(syst.)}\%,\nonumber \end{equation}
mostly dominated by the $f'_2(1525)$ state. Several statistically equivalent solutions are obtained for the detailed resonant structure depending on whether the smaller amplitudes interfere destructively or constructively with the dominant amplitude. The preferred solution that corresponds to the lowest values of the fit fractions along with constructive interference leads to the relative branching ratio measurement \begin{equation}
\frac{{\cal B}(B^0_s\to f'_2γ)}{{\cal B}(B^0_s\toφγ)}= 19.4^{+0.9}_{-0.8}\mathrm{~(stat.)}{}^{+1.4}_{-0.5}\mathrm{~(syst.)}\pm0.5\mathrm{~(\cal{B})}\%\nonumber, \end{equation} where the last uncertainty is due to the ratio of measured branching fractions to the $K^+K^-$ final state. This result represents the first observation of the radiative $B^0_s\to f'_2(1525)γ$ decay, which is the second radiative transition observed in the $B^0_s$ sector.

Macromolecules can gain special properties by adopting knotted conformations, but engineering knotted macromolecules is a challenging task. Here we surprisingly observed that knotting can be very effectively produced in active polymers. When one end of an actively reptative polymer is anchored, it can undergo continual self-knotting as a result of intermittent giant conformation fluctuations and the outward reptative motion. Once a knot is formed, it migrates to the anchored point due to a non-equilibrium ratchet effect. Moreover, when the active polymer is grafted on the end of a passive polymer, it can function as a self-propelling soft needle to either transfer its own knots to the passive polymer or directly braid knots on the passive polymer. We further show that these active needles can create inter-molecular bridging knots between two passive polymers. Our finding highlights the non-equilibrium effects in modifying the dynamic pathways of polymer systems, which have potential applications in macromolecular topology engineering, e.g., manipulating topological states of proteins and nucleic acids, as well as macromolecular braiding.

A comprehensive study of the local and nonlocal amplitudes contributing to the decay $B^0\rightarrow K^{*0}(\to K^+π^-) μ^+μ^-$ is performed by analysing the phase-space distribution of the decay products. The analysis is based on \proton\proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.4fb$^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb experiment. This measurement employs for the first time a model of both one-particle and two-particle nonlocal amplitudes, and utilises the complete dimuon mass spectrum without any veto regions around the narrow charmonium resonances. In this way it is possible to explicitly isolate the local and nonlocal contributions and capture the interference between them. The results show that interference with nonlocal contributions, although larger than predicted, only has a minor impact on the Wilson Coefficients determined from the fit to the data. For the local contributions, the Wilson Coefficient $C_9$, responsible for vector dimuon currents, exhibits a $2.1σ$ deviation from the Standard Model expectation. The Wilson Coefficients $C_{10}$, $C_{9}'$ and $C_{10}'$ are all in better agreement than $C_{9}$ with the Standard Model and the global significance is at the level of $1.5σ$. The model used also accounts for nonlocal contributions from $B^{0}\to K^{*0}\left[τ^+τ^-\to μ^+μ^-\right]$ rescattering, resulting in the first direct measurement of the $b sττ$ vector effective-coupling $C_{9τ}$.

The initial flavour of each $D^0$ candidate is determined from the charge of the pion produced in the $D^*(2010)^+ \rightarrow D^0 π^+$ decay. The decay $D^0 \rightarrow K^- π^+ π^0$ is used as a control channel to validate the measurement procedure. The gradient of the time-dependent $CP$ asymmetry, $ΔY$, in $D^0 \rightarrow π^+ π^- π^0$ decays is measured to be \begin{equation*}
ΔY = (-1.3 \pm 6.3 \pm 2.4) \times 10^{-4}, \end{equation*} where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic, which is compatible with $CP$ conservation.

The ratio of branching fractions of the $B^{+}\to D^{*-}D^{+}_{s}π^{+}$ and $B^{0}\to D^{*-}D^{+}_{s}$ decays is measured to be $0.173\pm 0.006\pm 0.010$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Using partially reconstructed $D^{*+}_{s}\to D^{+}_{s}γ$ and $D^{+}_{s}π^{0}$ decays, the ratio of branching fractions between the $B^{+}\to D^{*-}D^{*+}_{s}π^{+}$ and $B^{+}\to D^{*-}D^{+}_{s}π^{+}$ decays is determined as $1.31\pm 0.07\pm 0.14$. An amplitude analysis of the $B^{+}\to D^{*-}D^{+}_{s}π^{+}$ decay is performed for the first time, revealing dominant contributions from known excited charm resonances decaying to the $D^{*-}π^{+}$ final state. No significant evidence of exotic contributions in the $D^{+}_{s}π^{+}$ or $D^{*-}D^{+}_{s}$ channels is found. The fit fraction of the scalar state $T_{c\bar{s} 0}^{\ast}(2900)^{++}$ observed in the $B^{+}\to D^{-}D^{+}_{s}π^{+}$ decay is determined to be less than 2.3% at a 90% confidence level.

Traditional spectral imaging methods are constrained by the time-consuming scanning process, limiting the application in dynamic scenarios. One-shot spectral imaging based on reconstruction has been a hot research topic recently and the primary challenges still lie in both efficient fabrication techniques suitable for mass production and the high-speed, high-accuracy reconstruction algorithm for real-time spectral imaging. In this study, we introduce an innovative on-chip real-time hyperspectral imager that leverages nanophotonic film spectral encoders and a Massively Parallel Network (MP-Net), featuring a 4 * 4 array of compact, all-dielectric film units for the micro-spectrometers. Each curved nanophotonic film unit uniquely modulates incident light across the underlying 3 * 3 CMOS image sensor (CIS) pixels, enabling a high spatial resolution equivalent to the full CMOS resolution. The implementation of MP-Net, specially designed to address variability in transmittance and manufacturing errors such as misalignment and non-uniformities in thin film deposition, can greatly increase the structural tolerance of the device and reduce the preparation requirement, further simplifying the manufacturing process. Tested in varied environments on both static and moving objects, the real-time hyperspectral imager demonstrates the robustness and high-fidelity spatial-spectral data capabilities across diverse scenarios. This on-chip hyperspectral imager represents a significant advancement in real-time, high-resolution spectral imaging, offering a versatile solution for applications ranging from environmental monitoring, remote sensing to consumer electronics.

Studying the universe through radio telescope observation is crucial. However, radio telescopes capture not only signals from the universe but also various interfering signals, known as Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). The presence of RFI can significantly impact data analysis. Ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and scientific integrity of research findings by detecting and mitigating or eliminating RFI in observational data, presents a persistent challenge in radio astronomy. In this study, we proposed a novel deep learning model called EMSCA-UNet for RFI detection. The model employs multi-scale convolutional operations to extract RFI features of various scale sizes. Additionally, an attention mechanism is utilized to assign different weights to the extracted RFI feature maps, enabling the model to focus on vital features for RFI detection. We evaluated the performance of the model using real data observed from the 40-meter radio telescope at Yunnan Observatory. Furthermore, we compared our results to other models, including U-Net, RFI-Net, and R-Net, using four commonly employed evaluation metrics: precision, recall, F1 score, and IoU. The results demonstrate that our model outperforms the other models on all evaluation metrics, achieving an average improvement of approximately 5\% compared to U-Net. Our model not only enhances the accuracy and comprehensiveness of RFI detection but also provides more detailed edge detection while minimizing the loss of useful signals.

We simulate a nearly perfect, lossless RIS, and a realistic lossy anomalous reflector (AR) in different ray tracers and analyze the large-scale fading of simple RIS-assisted links. We also compare the results with continuous and quantized unit cell reflection phases with one to four-bit resolutions. Finally, we perform over-the-air communication link measurements in an indoor setting with a manufactured sample of a wide-angle AR. The EM, system-level, and ray-tracing simulation results show good agreement with the measurement results. It is proved that the introduced macroscopic model of RIS from the EM aspects is consistent with our proposed communication models, both for an ideal RIS and a realistic AR.

This work aims to build connections between the electromagnetic and communication aspects of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) by proposing a methodology to combine outputs from electromagnetic RIS design into an RIS-tailored system-level simulator and a ray tracer. In this first part of the contribution, a periodic anomalous reflector is designed using an algebraic array antenna scattering synthesis technique that enables electromagnetically accurate modeling of scattering surfaces with both static and reconfigurable scattering characteristics. The multi-mode periodic structure, capable of scattering into several anomalous angles through manipulation of reactive loads, is then cropped into finite-sized arrays, and the quantization effects of the load reactances on the array scattering are analyzed. An experimental anomalous reflector is demonstrated with a comparison between simulated and measured scattering performance. In the second part, the simulated receiving and transmitting scattering patterns of the anomalous reflector are utilized to build an electromagnetically consistent path loss model of an RIS into a system-level simulator. Large-scale fading is analyzed in simple scenarios of RIS-assisted wireless networks to verify the communication model, and an indoor scenario measurement using the manufactured anomalous reflector sample to support the simulation analysis. After verifying the connections between electromagnetic and communication aspects through simulations and measurements, the proposed communication model can be used for a broad range of RIS designs to perform large-scale system-level and ray-tracing simulations in realistic scenarios.

In this paper, we investigate some priori estimates to provide the critical regularity criteria for incompressible
Navier-Stokes equations on $\mathbb{R}^3$ and super critical surface quasi-geostrophic equations on $\mathbb{R}^2$. Concerning the Navier-Stokes equation, we demonstrate that a Leray-Hopf solution $u$ is regular if $u\in L_T^{\frac{2}{1-α}} \dot{B}^{-α}_{\infty,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^3)$, or $u$ in Lorentz space $ L_T^{p,r} \dot{B}^{-1+\frac{2}{p}}_{\infty,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^3)$, with $4\leq p\leq r<\infty$. Additionally, an alternative regularity condition is expressed as $u\in L_{T}^{\frac{2}{1-α}}
\dot{B}^{-α}_{\infty,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^3)+{L_T^\infty\dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}}(\mathbb{R}^3)$($α\in(0,1)$), contingent upon a smallness assumption on the norm $L_T^\infty\dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}$. For the SQG equation, we derive that a Leray-Hopf weak solution $θ\in L_T^{\fracα{\varepsilon}} \dot{C}^{1-α+ε}(\mathbb{R}^2)$ is smooth for any $\varepsilon$ small enough. Similar to the case of Navier-Stokes equation, we derive regularity criterion in more refined spaces, i.e. Lorentz spaces $L_T^{\fracαε,r}\dot{C}^{1-α+ε}(\mathbb{R}^2)$ and addition of two critical spaces $L_{T}^{\fracαε}\dot{C}^{1-α+ε}(\mathbb{R}^2)+{L_T^\infty\dot{C}^{1-α}(\mathbb{R}^2)}$, with smallness assumption on $L_T^\infty\dot{C}^{1-α}(\mathbb{R}^2)$.

A method is presented to reconstruct charged particles with lifetimes between 10 ps and 10 ns, which considers a combination of their decay products and the partial tracks created by the initial charged particle. Using the $Ξ^-$ baryon as a benchmark, the method is demonstrated with simulated events and proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fb${}^{-1}$ collected with the LHCb detector in 2018. Significant improvements in the angular resolution and the signal purity are obtained. Using the $B^0 \to D^+ D^- K_{\mathrm{S}}^0$ decay as a reference channel, the product of the relative production cross-section and decay branching fractions is measured to be $$ {\cal R}=\frac{σ_{Λ^0_b}}{σ_{B^0}} \times \frac{{\cal B}(Λ^0_b \to D^+ D^- Λ)}{{\cal B}(B^0 \to D^+ D^- K_{\mathrm{S}}^0)}=0.179 \pm 0.022 \pm 0.014 $$ where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The known branching fraction of the reference channel, ${\cal B}(B^0 \to D^+ D^- K_{\mathrm{S}}^0)$, and the cross-section ratio, $σ_{Λ^0_b} / σ_{B^0}$, previously measured by $\mathrm{LHCb}$ are used to derive the branching fraction of the $Λ^0_b \to D^+ D^- Λ$ decay $$ {\cal B}(Λ^0_b \to D^+ D^- Λ)=(1.24 \pm 0.15 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.28 \pm 0.11) \times 10^{-4}, $$ where the third and fourth contributions are due to uncertainties of ${\cal B}(B^0 \to D^+ D^- K_{\mathrm{S}}^0)$ and $σ_{Λ^0_b} / σ_{B^0}$, respectively. Inspection of the $D^+ Λ$ and $D^+ D^-$ invariant-mass distributions suggests a rich presence of intermediate resonances in the decay. Designing protein sequences with specific biological functions and structural stability is crucial in biology and chemistry. Generative models already demonstrated their capabilities for reliable protein design. However, previous models are limited to the unconditional generation of protein sequences and lack the controllable generation ability that is vital to biological tasks. In this work, we propose TaxDiff, a taxonomic-guided diffusion model for controllable protein sequence generation that combines biological species information with the generative capabilities of diffusion models to generate structurally stable proteins within the sequence space. Specifically, taxonomic control information is inserted into each layer of the transformer block to achieve fine-grained control. The combination of global and local attention ensures the sequence consistency and structural foldability of taxonomic-specific proteins. Extensive experiments demonstrate that TaxDiff can consistently achieve better performance on multiple protein sequence generation benchmarks in both taxonomic-guided controllable generation and unconditional generation. Remarkably, the sequences generated by TaxDiff even surpass those produced by direct-structure-generation models in terms of confidence based on predicted structures and require only a quarter of the time of models based on the diffusion model. The code for generating proteins and training new versions of TaxDiff is available at:https://github.com/Linzy19/TaxDiff.

Abstract:
The LHCb collaboration measures production of the exotic hadron $χ_{c1}$(3872) in proton-nucleus collisions for the first time. In a magnetic skyrmion phase, magnetic moments form vortex-like topological textures which are of both fundamental and industrial interests. In $β$-Mn-type Co-Zn-Mn alloys, chrial magnetic skyrmions emerge above room temperature, providing a unique system for studying the skrymion physics and exploring spintronics applications. However, the magnetic skyrmion phase is typically confined in a narrow and limited temperature ($T$) and magnetic field ($H$) range. Here, we demonstrate that hydrostatic pressure can expand the skyrmion phase in the $T-H$ phase diagram of single-crystalline Co$_8$Zn$_8$Mn$_4$. At ambient pressure, signatures of skyrmions are seen within $T\sim302-308$ K and $H\sim50-100$ Oe. Applying a moderate pressure of 6 kbar extends this range to $T\sim300-310$ K and $H\sim50-150$ Oe. However, further escalation of pressure to 10 kbar results in a slight contraction of the skyrmion phase. These findings underscore the sensitivity of the skyrmion phase in Co$_8$Zn$_8$Mn$_4$ to external pressures, and hint at the potential of strain engineering, particularly in $β$-Mn-type Co-Zn-Mn thin films, as a promising avenue to customize the skyrmion phase.

The ratio of branching fractions between $B^{0} \rightarrow J/ψπ^{0}$ and $B^{+} \rightarrow J/ψK^{*+}$ decays is measured with proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$. The measured value is $\frac{\mathcal{B}_{B^{0} \rightarrow J/ψπ^{0}}}{\mathcal{B}_{B^{+} \rightarrow J/ψK^{*+}}} = (1.153 \pm 0.053 \pm 0.048 ) \times 10^{-2}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The branching fraction for $B^{0} \rightarrow J/ψπ^{0}$ decays is determined using the branching fraction of the normalisation channel, resulting in $\mathcal{B}_{B^{0} \rightarrow J/ψπ^{0}} = (1.670 \pm 0.077 \pm 0.069 \pm 0.095) \times 10^{-5}$, where the last uncertainty corresponds to that of the external input. This result is consistent with the current world average value and competitive with the most precise single measurement to date.

In a combined analysis, these measurements allow for four solutions in the parameter space, only one of which is consistent with the world average.

The production of prompt $ψ(2S)$ is observed to be more suppressed compared to $pp$ collisions than the prompt $J/ψ$ production, while the nonprompt productions have similar suppression factors.

The first one presents $CP$ violation measurements in $B^0_s$ decays. Tree-level measurements of the CKM angle $γ$ are one of the most important tests of $CP$ violation in the SM. Additionally, the second one presents the results of a recent analysis of $B^{\pm} \rightarrow [h'^+h'^-π^+π^-]_Dh^{\pm}$ ($h=K,π$). The third one discusses the combination of previous LHCb $γ$ measurements except for the presented results. Achieved precision of the LHCb result: $(67 \pm 4)^{\circ}$ dominates the world average. Charm physics serves as a unique probe to test the flavor sector in the SM. The fourth one shows the search for $CP$ violation in the multi-body $D$ decays.

DyOBr orders antiferromagnetically at T$_{N}$=9.5 K with magnetic moments lying along $a$-axis, similar as DyOCl. Its magnetic susceptibility shows an anomaly at T$^{*}$=30 K possibly due to the crystal field effect. Furthermore a 1/3 magnetization plateau is clearly observed under H$\parallel$a and H$\parallel$[110], which might be a field-induced spin-flop phase or some exotic quantum magnetic state. On the other hand, isostructural SmOCl undergoes an antiferromagnetic transition at T$_{N}$=7.1 K and exhibits a contrasting Ising-like perpendicular $c$-axis magnetic anisotropy, which could be well explained by our crystal field calculations. Both DyOBr and SmOCl are insulators with band gap of $\sim$5 eV, our results suggest they are promising in building van der Waals heterostructures and applications in multifunctional devices.

This review focuses on 4d and 5d oxide superlattices, in which the spin-orbit coupling plays a significant role compared with conventional 3d oxide superlattices. Modulations in crystal structures with octahedral distortion, phonon engineering, electronic structures, spin orderings, and dimensionality control are discussed for 4d oxide superlattices. Atomic and magnetic structures, Jeff = 1/2 pseudospin and charge fluctuations, and the integration of topology and correlation are discussed for 5d oxide superlattices. This review provides insights into how correlated quantum phenomena arise from the deliberate design of superlattice structures that give birth to novel functionalities.

The ratio is measured for both prompt and non-prompt $ψ(2S)$ and $J/ψ$ mesons. When there is an overlap between the rapidity ranges over which multiplicity and charmonia production are measured, a multiplicity-dependent modification of the ratio is observed for prompt mesons. No significant multiplicity dependence is found when the ranges do not overlap. For non-prompt production, the $ψ(2S)-to-J/ψ$ production ratio is roughly independent of multiplicity irrespective of the rapidity range over which the multiplicity is measured.
The results are compared to predictions of the co-mover model and agree well except in the low multiplicity region. The ratio of production cross-sections of $ψ(2S)$ over $J/ψ$ mesons are cross-checked with other measurements in di-lepton channels and found to be compatible.

No evidence for an excess of signal events over background is observed and an upper limit is set on the branching fraction ratio ${\cal B}(B_c^+\toπ^+μ^+μ^-)/{\cal B}(B_c^+\to J/ψπ^+) < 2.1\times 10^{-4}$ at $90\%$ confidence level. Additionally, an updated measurement of the ratio of the $B_c^+\toψ(2S)π^+$ and $B_c^+\to J/ψπ^+$ branching fractions is reported. The ratio ${\cal B}(B_c^+\toψ(2S)π^+)/{\cal B}(B_c^+\to J/ψπ^+)$ is measured to be $0.254\pm 0.018 \pm 0.003 \pm 0.005$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic, and the third is due to the uncertainties on the branching fractions of the leptonic $J/ψ$ and $ψ(2S)$ decays. This measurement is the most precise to date and is consistent with previous LHCb results.

As one of the paradigm examples to probe into pulsar magnetospheric dynamics, PSR B0943+10 (J0946+0951) manifests representatively, showing mode switch, orthogonal polarization and subpulse drifting. Both integrated and single pulses are studied with the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST). The mode switch phenomenon of this pulsar is studied using an eigen-mode searching method, based on parameter estimation. A phase space evolution for the pulsar's mode switch shows a strange-attractor-like pattern. The radiative geometry is proposed by fitting polarization position angles with the rotating vector model. The pulsar pulse profile is then mapped to the sparking location on pulsar surface, and the differences between the main pulse's and the precursor component's radiative process may explain the X-ray's synchronization with radio mode switch. Detailed single pulse studies on B0943+10's orthogonally polarized radiation are presented, which may support for certain models of radiative transfer of polarized emission. B0943+10's B and Q modes evolve differently with frequency and with proportions of orthogonal modes, which indicates possible magnetospheric changes during mode switch. An extra component is found in B mode, and it shows distinct polarization and modulation properties compared with main part of B mode pulse component. For Q mode pulse profile, the precursor and the main pulse components are orthogonally polarized, showing that the precursor component radiated farther from the pulsar could be radiated in O-mode (X-mode) if the main pulse originates from low altitude in X-mode (O-mode). The findings could impact significantly on pulsar electrodynamics and the radiative mechanism related.

An amplitude analysis of the $B^{0}\to K^{*0}μ^+μ^-$ decay is presented using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $4.7$ fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision data collected with the LHCb experiment. For the first time, the coefficients associated to short-distance physics effects, sensitive to processes beyond the Standard Model, are extracted directly from the data through a $q^2$-unbinned amplitude analysis, where $q^2$ is the $μ^+μ^-$ invariant mass squared. Long-distance contributions, which originate from non-factorisable QCD processes, are systematically investigated and the most accurate assessment to date of their impact on the physical observables is obtained. The pattern of measured corrections to the short-distance couplings is found to be consistent with previous analyses of $b$- to $s$-quark transitions, with the largest discrepancy from the Standard Model predictions found to be at the level of 1.8 standard deviations. The global significance of the observed differences in the decay is 1.4 standard deviations.

An amplitude analysis of the $B^0 \to K^{*0} μ^+μ^-$ decay is presented. The analysis is based on data collected by the LHCb experiment from proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7,\,8$ and $13$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $4.7$ fb$^{-1}$. For the first time, Wilson coefficients and non-local hadronic contributions are accessed directly from the unbinned data, where the latter are parameterised as a function of $q^2$ with a polynomial expansion. Wilson coefficients and non-local hadronic parameters are determined under two alternative hypotheses: the first relies on experimental information alone, while the second one includes information from theoretical predictions for the non-local contributions. Both models obtain similar results for the parameters of interest. The overall level of compatibility with the Standard Model is evaluated to be between 1.8 and 1.9 standard deviations when looking at the $\mathcal{C}_9$ Wilson coefficient alone, and between 1.3 and 1.4 standard deviations when considering the full set of $\mathcal{C}_9, \, \mathcal{C}_{10}, \, \mathcal{C}_9^\prime$ and $\mathcal{C}_{10}^\prime$ Wilson coefficients. The ranges reflect the theoretical assumptions made in the analysis.

Capturing and preserving motion semantics is essential to motion retargeting between animation characters. However, most of the previous works neglect the semantic information or rely on human-designed joint-level representations. Here, we present a novel Semantics-aware Motion reTargeting (SMT) method with the advantage of vision-language models to extract and maintain meaningful motion semantics. We utilize a differentiable module to render 3D motions. Then the high-level motion semantics are incorporated into the motion retargeting process by feeding the vision-language model with the rendered images and aligning the extracted semantic embeddings. To ensure the preservation of fine-grained motion details and high-level semantics, we adopt a two-stage pipeline consisting of skeleton-aware pre-training and fine-tuning with semantics and geometry constraints. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method in producing high-quality motion retargeting results while accurately preserving motion semantics.

A prominent character of two-dimensional magnetic systems is the enhanced spin fluctuations, which however reduce the ordering temperature. Here we report that a magnetic field of only one-thousandth of the Heisenberg superexchange interaction can induce a crossover, which for practical purposes is the effective ordering transition, at temperatures about 6 times of the Neel transition in a site-diluted two-dimensional anisotropic quantum antiferromagnet. Such a strong magnetic response is enabled because the system directly enters the antiferromagnetically ordered state from the isotropic disordered state skipping the intermediate anisotropic stage. The underlying mechanism is achieved on a pseudospin-half square lattice realized in the [(SrIrO3)1/(SrTiO3)2] superlattice thin film that is designed to linearly couple the staggered magnetization to external magnetic fields by virtue of the rotational symmetry-preserving Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interaction. Our model analysis shows that the skipping of the anisotropic regime despite the finite anisotropy is due to the enhanced isotropic fluctuations under moderate dilution.

Benefiting from the advancements in deep learning, various genomic analytical techniques, such as survival analysis, classification of tumors and their subtypes, and exploration of specific pathways, have significantly enhanced our understanding of the biological mechanisms driving cancer. However, the overfitting issue, arising from the limited number of patient samples, poses a challenge in improving the accuracy of genome analysis by deepening the neural network. Furthermore, it remains uncertain whether novel approaches such as the sparsely gated mixture of expert (MOE) and self-attention mechanisms can improve the accuracy of genomic analysis. In this paper, we introduce a novel sparsely gated RNA-seq analysis framework called Gene-MOE. This framework exploits the potential of the MOE layers and the proposed mixture of attention expert (MOAE) layers to enhance the analysis accuracy. Additionally, it addresses overfitting challenges by integrating pan-cancer information from 33 distinct cancer types through pre-training.We pre-trained Gene-MOE on TCGA pan-cancer RNA-seq dataset with 33 cancer types. Subsequently, we conducted experiments involving cancer classification and survival analysis based on the pre-trained Gene-MOE. According to the survival analysis results on 14 cancer types, Gene-MOE outperformed state-of-the-art models on 12 cancer types. Through detailed feature analysis, we found that the Gene-MOE model could learn rich feature representations of high-dimensional genes. According to the classification results, the total accuracy of the classification model for 33 cancer classifications reached 95.8%, representing the best performance compared to state-of-the-art models. These results indicate that Gene-MOE holds strong potential for use in cancer classification and survival analysis.

The measurement is performed for both $J/ψ$ and $ψ(2S)$ mesons having transverse momentum $p_{\text{T}}<14$ GeV/$c$ and rapidity $2.0<y<4.5$, assuming negligible polarisation of the $J/ψ$ and $ψ(2S)$ mesons. The production cross-section is measured to be $4.5\pm0.7\pm0.3$ nb, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The differential cross-sections are measured as functions of several kinematic variables of the $J/ψ$-$ψ(2S)$ candidates. The results are combined with a measurement of $J/ψ$-$J/ψ$ production, giving a cross-section ratio between $J/ψ$-$ψ(2S)$ and $J/ψ$-$J/ψ$ production of $0.274\pm0.044\pm0.008$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

The star-forming clumps in star-bursting dwarf galaxies provide valuable insights into the understanding of the evolution of dwarf galaxies. In this paper, we focus on five star-bursting dwarf galaxies featuring off-centered clumps in the Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory (MaNGA) survey. Using the stellar population synthesis software FADO, we obtain the spatially-resolved distribution of the star formation history, which allows us to construct the $g$-band images of the five galaxies at different ages. These images can help us to probe the evolution of the morphological structures of these galaxies. While images of stellar population older than 1 Gyr are typically smooth, images of stellar population younger than 1 Gyr reveal significant clumps, including multiple clumps which appear at different locations and even different ages. To study the evolutionary connections of these five galaxies to other dwarf galaxies before their star-forming clumps appear, we construct the images of the stellar populations older than three age nodes, and define them to be the images of the "host" galaxies. We find that the properties such as the central surface brightness and the effective radii of the hosts of the five galaxies are in between those of dwarf ellipticals (dEs) and dwarf irregulars (dIrrs), with two clearly more similar to dEs and one more similar to dIrrs. Among the five galaxies, 8257-3704 is particularly interesting, as it shows a previous starburst event that is not quite visible from its $gri$ image, but only visible from images of the stellar population at a few hundred million years. The star-forming clump associated with this event may have appeared at around 600 Myr and disappeared at around 40 Myr.

We investigate the hot electrons generated from two-plasmon decay (TPD) instability driven by laser pulses with intensity modulated by a frequency $Δω_m$. Our primary focus lies on scenarios where $Δω_m$ is on the same order of the TPD growth rate $ γ_0$ ( $Δω_m \sim γ_0$), corresponding to moderate laser frequency bandwidths for TPD mitigation. With $Δω_m$ conveniently modeled by a basic two-color scheme of the laser wave fields in fully-kinetic particle-in-cell simulations, we demonstrate that the energies of TPD modes and hot electrons exhibit intermittent evolution at the frequency $Δω_m$, particularly when $Δω_m \sim γ_0$. With the dynamic TPD behavior, the overall ratio of hot electron energy to the incident laser energy, $f_{hot}$, changes significantly with $Δω_m$. While $f_{hot}$ drops notably with increasing $Δω_m$ at large $Δω_m$ limit as expected, it goes anomalously beyond the hot electron energy ratio for a single-frequency incident laser pulse with the same average intensity when $Δω_m$ falls below a specific threshold frequency $Δω_c$. We find this threshold frequency primarily depends on $γ_0$ and the collisional damping rate of plasma waves, with relatively lower sensitivity to the density scale length. We develop a scaling model characterizing the relation of $Δω_c$ and laser plasma conditions, enabling the potential extention of our findings to more complex and realistic scenarios.
