Abstract:
We propose a search strategy for MeV-scale feebly interacting massive particle (FIMP) dark matter (DM) at the $e^+e^-$ collider. We argue, detection of a mono-$γ$ signal plus missing energy can indicate to an MeV-scale reheating temperature of the Universe, after addressing observed DM abundance and other relevant constraints.

Silicon microelectronics, consisting of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology, have changed nearly all aspects of human life from communication to transportation, entertainment, and healthcare. Despite the widespread and mainstream use, current silicon-based devices suffer significant reliability issues at temperatures exceeding 125 C. The emergent technological frontiers of space exploration, geothermal energy harvesting, nuclear energy, unmanned avionic systems, and autonomous driving will rely on control systems, sensors, and communication devices which operate at temperatures as high as 500 C and beyond. At these extreme temperatures, active (heat exchanger, phase change cooling) or passive (fins and thermal interface materials) cooling strategies add significant mass and complication which is often infeasible. Thus, new material solutions beyond conventional silicon CMOS devices are necessary for high temperature, resilient electronic systems. Accomplishing this will require a united effort to explore development, integration, and ultimately manufacturing of non-silicon-based logic and memory technologies, non-traditional metals for interconnects, and ceramic packaging technology.

The growth in data generation necessitates efficient data processing technologies to address the von Neumann bottleneck in conventional computer architecture. Memory-driven computing, which integrates non-volatile memory (NVM) devices in a 3D stack, is gaining attention, with CMOS back-end-of-line (BEOL) compatible ferroelectric (FE) diodes being ideal due to their two-terminal design and inherently selector-free nature, facilitating high-density crossbar arrays. Here, we demonstrate BEOL-compatible, high-performance FE-diodes scaled to 5, 10, and 20 nm FE Al0.72Sc0.28N/Al0.64Sc0.36N films. Through interlayer (IL) engineering, we show substantial improvements in the ON/OFF ratios (>166 times) and rectification ratios (>176 times) in these scaled devices. The superlative characteristics also enables 5-bit multi-state operation with a stable retention. We also experimentally and theoretically demonstrate the counterintuitive result that the inclusion of an IL can lead to a decrease in the ferroelectric switching voltage of the device. An in-depth analysis into the device transport mechanisms is performed, and our compact model aligns seamlessly with the experimental results. Our results suggest the possibility of using scaled AlxSc1-xN FE-diodes for high performance, low-power, embedded NVM.

Citation maturity time varies for different articles. However, the impact of all articles is measured in a fixed window. Clustering their citation trajectories helps understand the knowledge diffusion process and reveals that not all articles gain immediate success after publication. Moreover, clustering trajectories is necessary for paper impact recommendation algorithms. It is a challenging problem because citation time series exhibit significant variability due to non linear and non stationary characteristics. Prior works propose a set of arbitrary thresholds and a fixed rule based approach. All methods are primarily parameter dependent. Consequently, it leads to inconsistencies while defining similar trajectories and ambiguities regarding their specific number. Most studies only capture extreme trajectories. Thus, a generalised clustering framework is required. This paper proposes a feature based multiple k means cluster ensemble framework. 1,95,783 and 41,732 well cited articles from the Microsoft Academic Graph data are considered for clustering short term (10 year) and long term (30 year) trajectories, respectively. It has linear run time. Four distinct trajectories are obtained Early Rise Rapid Decline (2.2%), Early Rise Slow Decline (45%), Delayed Rise No Decline (53%), and Delayed Rise Slow Decline (0.8%). Individual trajectory differences for two different spans are studied. Most papers exhibit Early Rise Slow Decline and Delayed Rise No Decline patterns. The growth and decay times, cumulative citation distribution, and peak characteristics of individual trajectories are redefined empirically. A detailed comparative study reveals our proposed methodology can detect all distinct trajectory classes.

Non-volatile memory (NVM) devices that reliably operate at temperatures above 300 $^\circ$C are currently non-existent and remains a critically unmet challenge in the development of high-temperature (T) resilient electronics, necessary for many emerging, complex computing and sensing in harsh environments. Ferroelectric Al$_x$Sc$_{1-x}$N exhibits strong potential for utilization in NVM devices operating at very high temperatures (> 500 $^\circ$C) given its stable and high remnant polarization (PR) above 100 $μ$C/cm$^2$ with demonstrated ferroelectric transition temperature (TC) > 1000 $^\circ$C. Here, we demonstrate an Al$_{0.68}$Sc$_{0.32}$N ferroelectric diode based NVM device that can reliably operate with clear ferroelectric switching up to 600 $^\circ$C with distinguishable On and Off states. The coercive field (EC) from the Pulsed I-V measurements is found to be -5.84 (EC-) and +5.98 (EC+) (+/- 0.1) MV/cm at room temperature (RT) and found to decrease with increasing temperature up to 600 $^\circ$C. The devices exhibit high remnant polarizations (> 100 $μ$C/cm$^2$) which are stable at high temperatures. At 500 $^\circ$C, our devices show 1 million read cycles and stable On-Off ratio above 1 for > 6 hours. Finally, the operating voltages of our AlScN ferrodiodes are < 15 V at 600 $^\circ$C which is well matched and compatible with Silicon Carbide (SiC) based high temperature logic technology, thereby making our demonstration a major step towards commercialization of NVM integrated high-T computers.

A coalition in $G$ is a combination of two distinct sets, $A\subseteq V$ and $B\subseteq V$, which are disjoint and are not dominating sets of $G$, but $A\cup B$ is a dominating set of $G$. A coalition partition of $G$ is a partition $\mathcal{P}=\{S_1,\ldots,S_k\}$ of its vertex set $V$, where each set $S_i\in \mathcal{P}$ is either a dominating set of $G$ with only one vertex, or it is not a dominating set but forms a coalition with some other set $S_j \in \mathcal{P}$. The coalition number $C(G)$ is the maximum cardinality of a coalition partition of $G$. To represent a coalition partition $\mathcal{P}$ of $G$, a coalition graph $\CG(G, \mathcal{P})$ is created, where each vertex of the graph corresponds to a member of $\mathcal{P}$ and two vertices are adjacent if and only if their corresponding sets form a coalition in $G$. A coalition partition $\mathcal{P}$ of $G$ is a singleton coalition partition if every set in $\mathcal{P}$ consists of a single vertex. If a graph $G$ has a singleton coalition partition, then $G$ is referred to as a singleton-partition graph. A graph $H$ is called a singleton coalition graph of a graph $G$ if there exists a singleton coalition partition $\mathcal{P}$ of $G$ such that the coalition graph $\CG(G,\mathcal{P})$ is isomorphic to $H$. A singleton coalition graph chain with an initial graph $G_1$ is defined as the sequence $G_1\rightarrow G_2\rightarrow G_3\rightarrow\cdots$ where all graphs $G_i$ are singleton-partition graphs, and $\CG(G_i,Γ_1)=G_{i+1}$, where $Γ_1$ represents a singleton coalition partition of $G_i$. In this paper, we address two open problems posed by Haynes et al. We characterize all graphs $G$ of order $n$ and minimum degree $δ(G)=2$ such that $C(G)=n$ and investigate the singleton coalition graph chain starting with graphs $G$ where $δ(G)\le 2$.

Understanding the behavior of nanobubbles (NBs) in various aqueous solutions is a challenging task. The present work investigates the effects of various surfactants (i.e., anionic, cationic, and nonionic) and pH medium on bulk NBs formation, size, concentration, bubble size distribution (BSD), zeta potential, and stability. The effect of surfactant was investigated at various concentrations above and below critical micelle concentrations. NBs were created in DI water using a piezoelectric transducer. The stability of NBs was assessed by tracking the change in size and concentration over time. NBs size is small in the neutral medium compared to the other surfactant or pH mediums. The size, concentration, BSD, and stability of NBs are strongly influenced by the zeta potential rather than the solution medium. BSD curve shifts to lower bubble sizes when the magnitude of zeta potential is high in any solution. NBs were observed to exist for a long time, either in pure water, surfactant, or pH solutions. The longevity of NBs is shortened in environments with pH less than 3. Surfactant adsorption on the NBs surface increases with surfactant concentration up to a certain limit, beyond which it declines considerably. The Derjaguin-LandauVerwey-Overbeek (DLVO) theory was used to interpret the NBs stability, which resulted in a total potential energy barrier that is positive and greater than 43.90kBT for pH ranging from 6.0 to 11.0, whereas, for pH below 6, the potential energy barrier essentially vanishes. Moreover, an effort has also been made to elucidate the plausible prospect of ion distribution and its alignment surrounding NBs in cationic and anionic surfactants. The present research will extend the in-depth investigation of NBs for industrial applications involving NBs.

Such DM candidates are categorised as pseudo-FIMP (pFIMP). pFIMP can provide both direct and indirect search prospects via WIMP loop. This work focuses into such possibilities. We provide all such one loop graphs involving scalar, fermion and vector boson particles via which pFIMP can interact with the Standard Model assuming both of them are stabilised via $\mathbb{Z}_2\otimes \mathbb{Z}_2^{\prime}$ symmetries. We elaborate upon a model where a fermion DM acts as WIMP and a scalar singlet acts as pFIMP having negligible Higgs portal interaction and substantial conversion via Yukawa interaction. We study in details the loop induced direct and indirect search prospects of the pFIMP in the relic density allowed region of the model.

A $d$-face in a plane graph is a face of length $d$. Dvořák and Feghali conjectured for a planar graph $G$ and a list assignment $L$ of $G$, that: (i) If $|L(v)|\geq 10$ for every $v\in V(G)$, then the diameter of $\mathcal{G}(G,L)$ is $O(|V(G)|)$. (ii) If $G$ is triangle-free and $|L(v)|\geq 7$ for every $v\in V(G)$, then the diameter of $\mathcal{G}(G,L)$ is $O(|V(G)|)$. In a recent paper, Cranston (European J. Combin. (2022)) has proved (ii). In this paper, we prove the following results. Let $G$ be a plane graph and $L$ be a list assignment of $G$.
$\bullet$ If for every $3$-face of $G$, there are at most two $3$-faces adjacent to it and $|L(v)|\geq 10$ for every $v\in V(G)$, then the diameter of $\mathcal{G}(G,L)$ is at most $190|V(G)|$.
$\bullet$ If for every $3$-face of $G$, there is at most one $3$-face adjacent to it and $|L(v)|\geq 9$ for every $v\in V(G)$, then the diameter of $\mathcal{G}(G,L)$ is at most $13|V(G)|$.
$\bullet$ If the faces adjacent to any $3$-face have length at least $6$ and $|L(v)|\geq 7$ for every $v\in V(G)$, then the diameter of $\mathcal{G}(G,L)$ is at most $242|V(G)|$. This result strengthens the Cranston's result on (ii).

Many experiments in liquid Helium, such as the optical imaging of exploding electron bubbles, which enables research on individual particles under applied conditions, involve the usage of ultrasound generated by piezoelectric transducers. Previous studies either use planar transducers, which limits the maximum sound intensity and the spatial resolution, or curved transducers, which only allow observations at fixed foci and make it difficult to apply uniform electric fields. In this paper, we introduce the usage of acoustic diffraction plates in liquid Helium to amplify ultrasonic pressure oscillations at an arbitrary set of primary foci coupled with large counts of secondary foci, all of which can be freely moved around by changing the ultrasound frequency. The frequency dependence also allows us to generate controlled Faraday instabilities at the surface, which enables the generation of multi-electron bubbles with desired parameters.

The cops and the robber move alternately along the edges of the graph. We say the team of cops win the game if a cop and the robber are at the same vertex of the graph. The minimum number of cops required to win in each component of a graph is called the cop number of the graph. Sivaraman [Discrete Math. 342(2019), pp. 2306-2307] conjectured that for every $t\geq 5$, the cop number of a connected $P_t$-free graph is at most $t-3$, where $P_t$ denotes a path on $t$~vertices. Turcotte [Discrete Math. 345 (2022), pp. 112660] showed that the cop number of any $2K_2$-free graph is at most $2$, which was earlier conjectured by Sivaraman and Testa. Note that if a connected graph is $2K_2$-free, then it is also $P_5$-free. Liu showed that the cop number of a connected ($P_t$, $H$)-free graph is at most $t-3$, where $H$ is a cycle of length at most $t$ or a claw. So the conjecture of Sivaraman is true for ($P_5$, $H$)-free graphs, where $H$ is a cycle of length at most $5$ or a claw. In this paper, we show that the cop number of a connected ($P_5,H$)-free graph is at most $2$, where $H\in \{C_4$, $C_5$, diamond, paw, $K_4$, $2K_1\cup K_2$, $K_3\cup K_1$, $P_3\cup P_1\}$.

Electroweak Symmetry Breaking (EWSB) is known to produce a massive universe that we live in. However, it may also provide an important boundary for freeze-in or freeze-out of dark matter (DM) connected to Standard Model via Higgs portal as processes contributing to DM relic differ across the boundary. We explore such possibilities in a two-component DM framework, where a massive $U(1)_X$ gauge boson DM freezes-in and a scalar singlet DM freezes-out, that inherits the effect of EWSB for both the cases in a correlated way. Amongst different possibilities, we study two sample cases; first when one DM component freezes in and the other freezes out from thermal bath both necessarily $before$ EWSB and the second, when both freeze-in and freeze-out occur $after$ EWSB. We find some prominent distinctive features in the available parameter space of the model for these two cases, after addressing relic density and the recent most direct search constraints from XENON1T, some of which can be borrowed in a model independent way.

We give necessary and sufficient condition for the equality of ordinary and symbolic powers of edge ideal of a weighted oriented graph having each edge in some induced odd cycle of it. We characterize the weighted naturally oriented unicyclic graphs with unique odd cycles and weighted naturally oriented even cycles for the equality of ordinary and symbolic powers of their edge ideals. Let $ D^{\prime} $ be the weighted oriented graph obtained from $D$ after replacing the weights of vertices with non-trivial weights which are sinks, by trivial weights. We show that the symbolic powers of $I(D)$ and $I(D^{\prime})$ behave in a similar way. Finally, if $D$ is any weighted oriented star graph, we show that $ {I(D)}^{(s)} = {I(D)}^s $ for all $s \geq 2.$

\noindent We also prove that a partially isometric Toeplitz operator is hyponormal if and only if the corresponding symbol is an inner function in $H^\infty(\mathbb{D}^n)$. Moreover, partially isometric Toeplitz operators are always power partial isometry (following Halmos and Wallen), and hence, up to unitary equivalence, a partially isometric Toeplitz operator with symbol in $L^\infty(\mathbb{T}^n)$, $n > 1$, is either a shift, or a co-shift, or a direct sum of truncated shifts. Along the way, we prove that $T_\varphi$ is a shift whenever $\varphi$ is inner in $H^\infty(\mathbb{D}^n)$.

Given a graph $G$, \textsc{Min-NTDS} is the problem of finding a neighborhood total dominating set of $G$ of minimum cardinality. The decision version of \textsc{Min-NTDS} is known to be \textsf{NP}-complete for bipartite graphs and chordal graphs. In this paper, we extend this \textsf{NP}-completeness result to undirected path graphs, chordal bipartite graphs, and planar graphs. We also present a linear time algorithm for computing a minimum neighborhood total dominating set in proper interval graphs. We show that for a given graph $G=(V,E)$, \textsc{Min-NTDS} cannot be approximated within a factor of $(1-\varepsilon)\log |V|$, unless \textsf{NP$\subseteq$DTIME($|V|^{O(\log \log |V|)}$)} and can be approximated within a factor of $O(\log Δ)$, where $Δ$ is the maximum degree of the graph $G$. Finally, we show that \textsc{Min-NTDS} is \textsf{APX}-complete for graphs of degree at most $3$.

Polycrystalline nanoceramic samples of Bi1- xBaxFe1-yZryO3 have been synthesized by auto-combustion method. Rietveld refinement result of X-ray diffraction data indicate a contraction of unit cell volume with increase in x and y. Field emission scanning electron micrographs show densely populated grains without any voids or defects with well-defined grain boundary and decrease in grain size with increasing x and y. The result of dielectric measurement display anomalies, which are amplified and the temperature at which dielectric anomalies observed decreases with increasing composition. A cross-over from anti-ferromagnetism to weak ferromagnetism has been observed at x = y = 0.1 with enhanced magnetization as compared to pure BiFeO3. Ferroelectric properties of the sample have been studied using PE loop measurement. Magneto-dielectric and magneto impedance spectroscopy reveal the existence of intrinsic magneto-electric coupling at room temperature.

Scientific journals are an important choice of publication venue for most authors. Publishing in prestigious journal plays a decisive role for authors in hiring and promotions. In last decade, citation pressure has become intact for all scientific entities more than ever before. Unethical publication practices has started to manipulate widely used performance metric such as "impact factor" for journals and citation based indices for authors. This threatens the integrity of scientific quality and takes away deserved credit of legitimate authors and their authentic publications.
In this paper we extract all possible anomalous citation patterns between journals from a Computer Science bibliographic dataset which contains more than 2,500 journals. Apart from excessive self-citations, we mostly focus on finding several patterns between two or more journals such as bi-directional mutual citations, chains, triangles, mesh, cartel relationships. On a macroscopic scale, the motivation is to understand the nature of these patterns by modeling how journals mutually interact through citations. On microscopic level, we differentiate between possible intentions (good or bad) behind such patterns. We see whether such patterns prevail for long period or during any specific time duration. For abnormal citation behavior, we study the nature of sudden inflation in impact factor of journals on a time basis which may occur due to addition of irrelevant and superfluous citations in such closed pattern interaction. We also study possible influences such as abrupt increase in paper count due to the presence of self-referential papers or duplicate manuscripts, author self-citation, author co-authorship network, author-editor network, publication houses etc. The entire study is done to question the reliability of existing bibliometrics, and hence, it is an urgent need to curtail their usage or redefine them.

Varying the substrate temperature changes structural and magnetic properties of spinel ferrite NZFO thin films. XRD of films grown at different temperature display only 004 reflections, without any secondary peaks, showing growth orientation along the c axis. We find an increase in crystalline quality of these thin films with the rise of substrate temperature. The surface topography of the thin films grown on various growth temperatures conditions reveal that these films are smooth with low roughness, however the thin films grown at 800 C exhibit lowest average and rms roughness among all thin films. We find iron and nickel to be more oxidized i,e greater Fe and Ni content in films grown and annealed at 700 C and 800 C, compared to those grown at lower temperatures. The magnetic moment is observed to increase with an increase of substrate temperature and all thin films possess high saturation magnetization and low coercive field at room temperature. Films grown at 800 C exhibit a ferrimagnetic paramagnetic phase transition well above room temperature. The observed large magnetizations with soft magnetic behavior in NZFO thin films above room temperature suggest potential application in memory, spintronics, and multifunctional devices.

Given a directed Cartesian product $\mathscr T$ of locally finite, leafless, rooted directed trees $\mathscr T_1, \ldots, \mathscr T_d$ of finite joint branching index, one may associate with $\mathscr T$ the Drury-Arveson-type $\mathbb C[z_1, \ldots, z_d]$-Hilbert module $\mathscr H_{\mathfrak c_a}(\mathscr T)$ of vector-valued holomorphic functions on the open unit ball $\mathbb B^d$ in $\mathbb C^d$, where $a >0.$ In case all directed trees under consideration are without branching vertices, $\mathscr H_{\mathfrak c_a}(\mathscr T)$ turns out to be the classical Drury-Arveson-type Hilbert module $\mathscr H_{a}$ associated with the reproducing kernel $\frac{1}{(1 - \langle{z}, {w}\rangle)^a}$ defined on $\mathbb B^d$. Unlike the case of $d=1$, the above association does not yield a reproducing kernel Hilbert module if we relax the assumption that $\mathscr T$ has finite joint branching index. The main result of this paper classifies all directed Cartesian product $\mathscr T$ for which the Hilbert modules $\mathscr H_{\mathfrak c_a}(\mathscr T)$ are isomorphic in case $a$ is a positive integer. One of the essential tools used to establish this isomorphism is an operator-valued representing measure arising from $\mathscr H_{\mathfrak c_a}(\mathscr T).$ Further, a careful analysis of these Hilbert modules allows us to prove that the cardinality of the $k^{\tiny \mbox{th}}$ generation $(k =0, 1, \ldots)$ of $\mathscr T_1, \ldots, \mathscr T_d$ are complete invariants for $\mathscr H_{\mathfrak c_a}(\cdot)$ provided $ad \neq 1$. Failure of this result in case $ad =1$ may be attributed to the von Neumann-Wold decomposition for isometries. Along the way, we identify the joint cokernel $E$ of the multiplication $d$-tuple $\mathscr M_{z}$ on $\mathscr H_{\mathfrak c_a}(\mathscr T)$ with orthogonal direct sum of tensor products of certain hyperplanes.

Ranking scientific authors is an important but challenging task, mostly due to the dynamic nature of the evolving scientific publications. The basic indicators of an author's productivity and impact are still the number of publications and the citation count (leading to the popular metrics such as h-index, g-index etc.). H-index and its popular variants are mostly effective in ranking highly-cited authors, thus fail to resolve ties while ranking medium-cited and low-cited authors who are majority in number. Therefore, these metrics are inefficient to predict the ability of promising young researchers at the beginning of their career. In this paper, we propose $C^3$-index that combines the effect of citations and collaborations of an author in a systematic way using a weighted multi-layered network to rank authors. We conduct our experiments on a massive publication dataset of Computer Science and show that - (i) $C^3$-index is consistent over time, which is one of the fundamental characteristics of a ranking metric, (ii) $C^3$-index is as efficient as h-index and its variants to rank highly-cited authors, (iii) $C^3$-index can act as a conflict resolution metric to break ties in the ranking of medium-cited and low-cited authors, (iv) $C^3$-index can also be used to predict future achievers at the early stage of their career.

We systematically develop the multivariable counterpart of the theory of weighted shifts on rooted directed trees. Capitalizing on the theory of product of directed graphs, we introduce and study the notion of multishifts on directed Cartesian product of rooted directed trees. This framework unifies the theory of weighted shifts on rooted directed trees and that of classical unilateral multishifts. Moreover, this setup brings into picture some new phenomena such as the appearance of system of linear equations in the eigenvalue problem for the adjoint of a multishift. In the first half of the paper, we focus our attention mostly on the multivariable spectral theory and function theory including finer analysis of various joint spectra and wandering subspace property for multishifts. In the second half, we separate out two special classes of multishifts, which we refer to as torally balanced and spherically balanced multishifts. The classification of these two classes is closely related to toral and spherical polar decompositions of multishifts. Furthermore, we exhibit a family of spherically balanced multishifts on $d$-fold directed Cartesian product $\mathscr T$ of rooted directed trees. These multishifts turn out be multiplication $d$-tuples $\mathscr M_{z, a}$ on certain reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces $\mathscr H_a$ of vector-valued holomorphic functions defined on the unit ball $\mathbb B^d$ in $\mathbb C^d$, which can be thought of as tree analogs of the multiplication $d$-tuples acting on the reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces associated with the kernels $\frac{1}{(1-\langle{z},{{w}\rangle})^a}~(z, w \in \mathbb B^d, a \in \mathbb N).$

The fundamental aspects of relaxation dynamics in Bi0.9Gd0.1Fe0.9Mn0.1O3 multiferroic system have been reported. The study was carried out employing dielectric relaxation spectroscopy covering eight decades in frequency 0.01 to106 Hz and in a wide range of temperature 423 K to 153 K, hydrostatic pressure 0.1 MPa to 1765 MPa and aging time 0 s to 80000 s. The temperature dependent dielectric response indicates three relaxations processes in the dynamic window of modulus formalism. Variable range hopping model of small polarons manifests the bulk conduction mechanism. The bulk and grain boundary contributions have been estimated using impedance spectroscopy analysis and reveal that localized process dominates the relaxation. The direct evidence of glassy feature is established below 200 K by aging experiments. Our findings provide a potential connection between nearly constant loss features appearing below 200 K with fastest relaxation of magnitude 0.16 eV. We also discuss the time temperature superposition behavior using modulus scaling. A pressure driven normal ferroelectric to relaxor behavior is witnessed above a critical pressure as a result of relative competition between short range and long range forces. Our findings focus the role of high pressure as a fundamental bridge between normal ferroelectrics and relaxors. Intriguingly, there exists a direct connection between chemical pressure induced by substitution and external hydrostatic pressure. These findings have robust fundamental importance on theoretical elucidation of relaxation dynamics in perovskite systems.

Experiments on a massive publication dataset reveal several interesting characteristics of our metric: (i) we observe that $C^3$-index is consistent over time, (ii) $C^3$-index has high potential to break ties among low rank authors, (iii) $C^3$-index can effectively be used to predict future achievers at the early stage of their career.

During the last fifteen years, multiferroic (MF) research communities have been searching for an alternative room temperature MF material with large magnetoelectric (ME) coupling for possible applications in high density electronic components, low heat dissipation memory and logic devices. We have studied Pb(Zr0.20Ti0.80)0.70Pd0.30O3-δ (PZTP30) system with an unusually large (30%) palladium occupancy in B site of PZT. This material exhibited a giant ME coupling coefficient ~0.36 mV/cm.Oe. Interestingly, this is the first time any room temperature single phase compound that showed ME trends, and magnitude similar to those in the well established mechanical strain-mediated ferroelectric and ferromagnetic composites; the latter ones are already in the commercial stage as nT/pT magnetic field sensors due to their large ME values. The presence of Pd in PZTP30 has been confirmed by XPS and XRF studies and assigned with related binding energies of Pd+2 and Pd+4 ions as 336.37 eV, 342.9 eV, and 337.53 eV, 343.43 eV, respectively, which may be the origin of room temperature magnetism in Pd substituted PZT ceramics. A sharp first order ferroelectric phase transition was observed at ~569 K (+/-5 K) that is confirmed from dielectric, Raman, and thermal analysis. Both ferromagnetic and ferroelectric orderings with large ME coupling were found above room temperature, a significant step forward in the development of single phase ME material with enhanced functionalities.

Understanding the qualitative patterns of research endeavor of scientific authors in terms of publication count and their impact (citation) is important in order to quantify success trajectories. Here, we examine the career profile of authors in computer science and physics domains and discover at least six different success trajectories in terms of normalized citation count in longitudinal scale. Initial observations of individual trajectories lead us to characterize the authors in each category. We further leverage this trajectory information to build a two-stage stratification model to predict future success of an author at the early stage of her career. Our model outperforms the baseline with an average improvement of 15.68% for both the datasets.

Abstract:
In a real Banach space, we first prove that the sum of a monotone operator of type (FPV) and maximal monotone operator Rockafellar's constraint qualification is maximal. This prove leads to the solution of most interesting long-time outstanding problem in monotone operator theory is the sum problem.

Abstract:
Here, question raised by Borwein and Yao has been settled by establishing that the sum of two maximal monotone operators A and B is maximal monotone with the condition that A is of type (FPV) and satisfies Rockafellar's constraints qualification. Also we have proved that A+B is of type (FPV) without assuming convexity on the domain of A.

A Vehicular Ad hoc Network consists of vehicles which communicate with each other and exchange data via wireless communication links available between the vehicles which are in communication ranges of vehicles to improve the road safety in city. The communication between vehicles is used to provide road safety, comfort and entertainment. The performance of communication depends on how better routing takes place in the network.Routing data between the source and destination vehicle depends on the routing protocols being used in vehicular adhoc network. In this simulation based study we investigated about different ad hoc routing protocols for vehicular adhoc network. The main goal of our study was to identify which ad hoc routing protocol has better performance in highly mobile environment of vehicular adhoc network. We have measured the performance of routing protocols using 802.11p in vehicular adhoc network in which we considered the scenario of city i.e. Route between Nerul and Vashi where we have taken 1200 different types of vehicles and checked their performance.Routing protocols are selected after the literature review. The selected protocols are then evaluated through simulation under 802.11p in terms of performance metrics i.e PDR & E2E delay.

The most of computing environments in the IT support organization like NIC are designed to run in centralized datacentre. The centralized infrastructure of various development projects are used to deploy their services on it and connecting remotely to that datacentre from all the stations of organization. Currently these servers are mostly underutilized due to the static and conventional approaches used for accessing and utilizing of these resources. The cloud patterns is much needful for optimizing resource utilization and reducing the investments on unnecessary costs. So, we build up and prototyped a private cloud system called nIC(NIC Internal Cloud) to leverage the benefits of cloud environment. For this system we adopted the combination of various techniques from open source software community. The user-base of nIC consists developers, web and database admins, service providers and desktop users from various projects in NIC. We can optimize the resource usage by customizing the user based template services on these virtualized infrastructure. It will also increases the flexibility of the managing and maintenance of the operations like archiving, disaster recovery and scaling of resources. The open-source approach is further decreases the enterprise costs. In this paper, we describe the design and analysis of implementing issues on internal cloud environments in NIC and similar organizations.

In the last few decades, the human allosomes are engrossed in an intensive attention among researchers. The allosomes are now already been sequenced and found there are about 2000 and 78 genes in human X and Y chromosomes respectively. The hemizygosity of the human X chromosome in males exposes recessive disease alleles, and this phenomenon has prompted decades of intensive study of X-linked disorders. By contrast, the small size of the human Y chromosome, and its prominent long-arm heterochromatic region suggested absence of function beyond sex determination. But the present problem is to accomplish whether a given sequence of nucleotides i.e. a DNA is a Human X or Y chromosomal genes or not, without any biological experimental support. In our perspective, a proper quantitative understanding of these genes is required to justify or nullify whether a given sequence is a Human X or Y chromosomal gene. In this paper, some of the X and Y chromosomal genes have been quantified in genomic and proteomic level through Fractal Geometric and Mathematical Morphometric analysis. Using the proposed quantitative model, one can easily make probable justification or deterministic nullification whether a given sequence of nucleotides is a probable Human X or Y chromosomal gene or not, without seeking any biological experiment. Of course, a further biological experiment is essential to validate it as the probable Human X or Y chromosomal gene homologue. This study would enable Biologists to understand these genes in more quantitative manner instead of their qualitative features.

Brillouin spectroscopic measurements have been carried out on relaxor ferroelectric Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)0.85Ti0.15O3 (PZN-PT) single crystal over the temperature range 300-585 K. The longitudinal acoustic phonon begins to soften below 650 K, which is attributed to the Burns temperature (TB). On the other hand, the line width of the longitudinal acoustic (LA) phonon mode exhibits a sharp Landau-Khalatnikov-like maximum and an accompanying anomaly in the LA mode frequency around 463 K, the tetragonal-cubic phase transition temperature (Ttc). In addition, a broad central peak, found below the characteristic intermediate temperature T* ~ 525 K, exhibits critical slowing down upon approaching Ttc indicating an order-disorder nature of the phase transition. The relaxation time of polar nano regions estimated from the broad central peak is found to be same as that obtained for LA phonon mode suggesting an electrostrictive coupling between strain and polarization fluctuations. The activation energy for the PNRs relaxation-dynamics is found to be ~236 meV. Polarized nature of the central peak suggests that the polar nano regions have the tendency to form long-range polar ordering.

We consider a quantum polynomial-time algorithm which solves the discrete logarithm problem for points on elliptic curves over $GF(2^m)$. We improve over earlier algorithms by constructing an efficient circuit for multiplying elements of binary finite fields and by representing elliptic curve points using a technique based on projective coordinates. The depth of our proposed implementation, executable in the Linear Nearest Neighbor (LNN) architecture, is $O(m^2)$, which is an improvement over the previous bound of $O(m^3)$ derived assuming no architectural restrictions.
