We present the results of photometric and spectroscopic monitoring campaigns of the changing look AGN NGC~2617 carried out from 2016 until 2022 and covering the wavelength range from the X-ray to the near-IR. The facilities included the telescopes of the SAI MSU, MASTER Global Robotic Net, the 2.3-m WIRO telescope, Swift, and others. We found significant variability at all wavelengths and, specifically, in the intensities and profiles of the broad Balmer lines. We measured time delays of ~ 6 days (~ 8 days) in the responses of the H-beta (H-alpha) line to continuum variations. We found the X-ray variations to correlate well with the UV and optical (with a small time delay of a few days for longer wavelengths). The K-band lagged the B band by 14 +- 4 days during the last 3 seasons, which is significantly shorter than the delays reported previously by the 2016 and 2017--2019 campaigns. Near-IR variability arises from two different emission regions: the outer part of the accretion disc and a more distant dust component. The HK-band variability is governed primarily by dust. The Balmer decrement of the broad-line components is inversely correlated with the UV flux. The change of the object's type, from Sy1 to Sy1.8, was recorded over a period of ~ 8 years. We interpret these changes as a combination of two factors: changes in the accretion rate and dust recovery along the line of sight.

We present the variability study of the lowest-luminosity Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4395 based on the photometric monitoring campaigns in 2017 and 2018. Using 22 ground-based and space telescopes, we monitored NGC 4395 with a $\sim$5 minute cadence during a period of 10 days and obtained light curves in the UV, V, J, H, and K/Ks bands as well as the H$α$ narrow-band. The RMS variability is $\sim$0.13 mag on \emph{Swift}-UVM2 and V filter light curves, decreasing down to $\sim$0.01 mag on K filter. After correcting for continuum contribution to the H$α$ narrow-band, we measured the time lag of the H$α$ emission line with respect to the V-band continuum as ${55}^{+27}_{-31}$ to ${122}^{+33}_{-67}$ min. in 2017 and ${49}^{+15}_{-14}$ to ${83}^{+13}_{-14}$ min. in 2018, depending on the assumption on the continuum variability amplitude in the H$α$ narrow-band. We obtained no reliable measurements for the continuum-to-continuum lag between UV and V bands and among near-IR bands, due to the large flux uncertainty of UV observations and the limited time baseline. We determined the AGN monochromatic luminosity at 5100Å $λL_λ= \left(5.75\pm0.40\right)\times 10^{39}\,\mathrm{erg\,s^{-1}}$, after subtracting the contribution of the nuclear star cluster. While the optical luminosity of NGC 4395 is two orders of magnitude lower than that of other reverberation-mapped AGNs, NGC 4395 follows the size-luminosity relation, albeit with an offset of 0.48 dex ($\geq$2.5$σ$) from the previous best-fit relation of Bentz et al. (2013).

As previously reported, SN 2018aoq appears to be of intermediate brightness between subluminous and normal SNe II-P. SN 2018aoq was discovered in Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151, for which the distance is uncertain. We utilised the Expanding Photosphere Method using three sets of filter combinations and velocities derived from the absorption minima of FeII lines and obtained a distance of 20.0 +-1.6 Mpc. The Standard Candle Method applied to SN 2018aoq yields a distance of 16.6 +-1.1 Mpc. Both values are consistent with the distance measurements for NGC 4151 based on geometric method.

We present the results of multicolor (UBVJHKLM) photometry (2009-2017) and low-resolution spectroscopy (2016-2017) of the semi-regular variable V1427 Aql=HD 179821, a yellow supergiant with gas-dust envelope. The star displays low-amplitude (ΔV<0.2 mag) semi-periodic brightness variation superimposed on a long-term trend. The light curve shape and timescale change from cycle to cycle. There are temperature variations characteristic for pulsations, and brightness oscillations with no significant change of color are also observed. The UBV data for the 2009-2011 interval are well reproduced by a superposition of two periodic components with P=170 d and P=141 d (or P=217 d - the one year alias of P=141 d). The variation became less regular after 2011, the timescale increased and exceeded 250 days. In 2009-2016 the annual average brightness monotonically increased in V, J, K, whereas it decreased in U and B. The annual average U-B, B-V, and J-K colors grew, the star was getting redder. The cooling and expanding of the star photosphere along with the increasing of luminosity may explain the long-term trend in brightness and colors. Based on our photometric data we suppose that the photosphere temperature decreased by ~400 K in the 2008-2016 interval, the radius increased by ~24 %, and the luminosity grew by ~19 %. Low-resolution spectra in the λ4000-9000 Å wavelength range obtained in 2016-2017 indicate significant changes in the spectrum of V1427 Aql as compared with the 1994-2008 interval, i.e. the BaII and near-infrared CaII triplet absorptions have turned stronger while the OI λ7771-4 triplet blend has weakened that points out the decrease of temperature in the region where the absorptions are formed. The evolutionary stage of the star is discussed. We also compare V1427 Aql with post-AGB stars and yellow hypergiants.

Optical and near-infrared photometry, optical spectroscopy, and soft X-ray and UV monitoring of the changing-look active galactic nucleus NGC 2617 show that it continues to have the appearance of a type-1 Seyfert galaxy. An optical light curve for 2010$-$2017 indicates that the change of type probably occurred between 2010 October and 2012 February and was not related to the brightening in 2013. In 2016 and 2017 NGC 2617 brightened again to a level of activity close to that in 2013 April. However, in 2017 from the end of the March to end of July 2017 it was in very low level and starting to change back to a Seyfert 1.8. We find variations in all passbands and in both the intensities and profiles of the broad Balmer lines. A new displaced emission peak has appeared in H$β$. X-ray variations are well correlated with UV$-$optical variability and possibly lead by $\sim$ 2$-$3 d. The $K$ band lags the $J$ band by about 21.5 $\pm$ 2.5 d and lags the combined $B + J$ bands by $\sim$ 25 d. $J$ lags $B$ by $\sim$ 3 d. This could be because $J$-band variability arises predominantly from the outer part of the accretion disc, while $K$-band variability is dominated by thermal re-emission by dust. We propose that spectral-type changes are a result of increasing central luminosity causing sublimation of the innermost dust in the hollow bi-conical outflow. We briefly discuss various other possible reasons that might explain the dramatic changes in NGC 2617.

If this variation is caused by a light travel-time effect via the existence of a third body, its mass can be derived as $M_{3}sini'\approx91.08M_{Jup}$, it should be a low-mass star. In addition, several physical parameters were measured. The colour of the secondary star was determined as $V-R=0.77(\pm0.03)$ which corresponds to a spectral type of K2-3. The secondary star's mass was estimated as $M_{2}=0.73(\pm0.02)M_{\odot}$ by combing the derived $V-R$ value around phase 0 with the assumption that it obeys the mass-luminosity relation of the main sequence stars. This mass is consistent with the mass$-$period relation of CV donor stars. For the white dwarf, the eclipse durations and contacts of the white dwarf yield an upper limit of the white dwarf's radius corresponding to a lower limit mass of $M_{1}\approx0.501M_{\odot}$. The overestimated radius and previously published spectral data indicate that the boundary layer may has a very high temperature.

We present medium-resolution spectroscopy and multicolor photometry for the optical transient PSN J09093496+3307204 (SN 2015bh) in the galaxy NGC 2770, which has transferred into the supernova phase. The observations were carried out between February 2015 to May 2016. Both at the phase of the SN impostor (2015a) and at the supernova phase (2015b), besides Balmer emissions, the strong Fe II emissions are seen in the spectrum; so, these spectra resemble those of Williams Fe II type classical novae. The star is located near the edge of a dark nebula and notably absorbed (Av = 1.14 +/-0.15 mag). Taking into account this absorption, we determined maximum absolute magnitudes of Mv = -15.0 +/-0.3 mag at the 2015a phase and of Mv = -18.14 +/-0.30 mag at the 2015b phase. The light curve at the 2015b phase is similar to those of SN IIL. The supernova progenitor is a luminous blue variable (LBV) star with the powerful Hα emission. We considered several hypotheses of supernovae explosions following optical transients related with LBV. The hypothesis of core collapse of an evolved massive star interrupting the process of its merging with massive companion in a binary system (a failed luminous red nova) was chosen as the preferable one for this event.

Super Li-rich stars form a very small and enigmatic group whose existence cannot be explained in terms of the standard stellar evolution theory. The goal of our study is to check the reality of this group of cool giants based on an independent technique. We have carried out such a check using the K giant HD 77361 (HR 3597), which has previously been assigned to this rare type, as an example. We have redetermined the effective temperature Teff and surface gravity log g for this star. We have applied two different methods, photometric and spectroscopic, to estimate Teff (the accuracy of the Li-abundance determination depends significantly on this parameter). The value of log g has been found from the highly accurate parallax of this nearby star. To apply the photometric method of determining Teff, we have performed UBV observations of the star, which yielded V = 6.18 +/- 0.03, B - V = 1.13 +/- 0.01, and U - B = 1.18+/-0.05. The following parameters of the star have been found: effective temperature Teff = 4370+/- 100 K, surface gravity log g = 2.30 +/- 0.10, iron abundance log e(Fe) = 7.49 +/- 0.14, microturbulence Vt = 1.1 +/- 0.2 km/s, rotational velocity V sin i = 4.5 km/s, and mass M = 1.3 +/- 0.2 Msun. The lithium abundance has been determined from a non-LTE analysis of three Li I lines: the resonance line at 6707.8 ?A and the subordinate lines at 6103.6 and 8126.4 ?A (the latter in a blend with a CN molecular line). We have found a high lithium abundance, log e(Li) = 3.75 +/- 0.11, which exceeds considerably the initial abundance log e(Li) = 3.2 +/- 0.1 for young stars in the solar neighborhood. Thus, we have confirmed that the K giant HD 77361 actually belongs to the type of super Li-rich stars.

Continuing the project described by Kato et al. (2009, PASJ, 61, S395, arXiv:0905.1757), we collected times of superhump maxima for 56 SU UMa-type dwarf novae mainly observed during the 2013-2014 season and characterized these objects. We detected negative superhumps in VW Hyi and indicated that the low number of normal outbursts in some supercycle can be interpreted as a result of the disk tilt. This finding, combined with the Kepler observation of V1504 Cyg and V344 Lyr, suggests that the disk tilt is responsible for modulating the outburst pattern in SU UMa-type dwarf novae. We also studied the deeply eclipsing WZ Sge-type dwarf nova MASTER OT J005740.99+443101.5 and found evidence of a sharp eclipse during the phase of early superhumps. The profile can be reproduced by a combination of the eclipse of the axisymmetric disk and the uneclipsed light source of early superhumps. This finding confirms the lack of evince of a greatly enhanced hot spot during the early stage of WZ Sge-type outburst. We detected growing (stage A) superhumps in MN Dra and give a suggestion that some of SU UMa-type dwarf novae situated near the critical condition of tidal instability may show long-lasting stage A superhumps. The large negative period derivatives reported in such systems can be understood a result of the combination of stage A and B superhumps. The WZ Sge-type dwarf novae AL Com and ASASSN-13ck showed a long-lasting (plateau-type) rebrightening. In the early phase of the rebrightening, both objects showed a precursor-like outburst, suggesting that the long-lasting rebrightening is triggered by a precursor outburst.
