We report the enhanced superconducting properties of double-chain based superconductor Pr$_{2}$Ba$_{4}$Cu$_{7}$O$_{15-δ}$ synthesized by the citrate pyrolysis technique.
%In spite of the polycrystalline bulk samples, we obtained the higher residual resistivity ratios (10-12).
The reduction heat treatment in vacuum results in the appearance of superconducting state with $T_\mathrm{c}$=22-24 K, accompanied by the higher residual resistivity ratios. The superconducting volume fractions are estimated from the ZFC data to be 50$\sim55\%$, indicating the bulk superconductivity. We evaluate from the magneto-transport data the temperature dependence of the superconducting critical field, to establish the superconducting phase diagram. The upper critical magnetic field is estimated to be about 35 T at low temperatures from the resistive transition data using the Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg formula. The Hall coefficient $R_{H}$ of the 48-h-reduced superconducting sample is determined to be -0.5$\times10^{-3}$ cm$^{3}$/C at 30 K, suggesting higher electron concentration. These findings have a close relationship with homogeneous distributions of the superconducting grains and improved weak links between their superconducting grains in the present synthesis process.

We report 73Ge-NMR and NQR results for ferromagnetic (FM) superconductor URhGe. The magnitude and direction of the internal field, H_int, and parameters of the electric field gradient at the Ge site were determined experimentally. Using powdered polycrystalline samples oriented by different methods, the field dependences of NMR shift and nuclear spin relaxation rates for H_0 // c (easy axis) and H_0 // b were obtained. From the NMR shifts for H_0 // b, we confirmed a gradual suppression of the Curie temperature and observed a phase separation near the spin reorientation. The observation of the phase separation gives microscopic evidence that the spin reorientation under H_0 // b is of first order at low temperatures. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 indicates that the magnetic fluctuations are suppressed for H_0 // c, whereas the fluctuations remain strongly for H_0 // b. The enhancements of both 1/T_1T and the nuclear spin-spin relaxation rate 1/T_2 for H_0 // b toward the spin reorientation field suggest that the field-induced superconductivity in URhGe emerges under the magnetic fluctuations along the b axis and the c axis.

We report the temperature-pressure-magnetic field phase diagram made from electrical resistivity measurements for the ferromagnetic (FM) Kondo lattice CeRuPO. The ground state at zero field changes from the FM state to another state, which is suggested to be an antiferromagnetic (AFM) state, above ~0.7 GPa, and the magnetically ordered state is completely suppressed at ~2.8 GPa. In addition to the collapse of the AFM state under pressure and a magnetic field, a metamagnetic (MM) transition from a paramagnetic state to a polarized paramagnetic state appears. CeRuPO will give us a rich playground for understanding the mechanism of the MM transition under comparable FM and AFM correlations in the Kondo lattice.

The ground state of the Hubbard model is studied within the constrained Hilbert space where no order parameter exists. The self-energy of electrons is decomposed into the single-site and multisite self-energies. The calculation of the single-site self-energy is mapped to a problem of self-consistently determining and solving the Anderson model. When an electron reservoir is explicitly considered, it is proved that the single-site self-energy is that of a normal Fermi liquid even if the multisite self-energy is anomalous. Thus, the ground state is a normal Fermi liquid in the supreme single-site approximation (S^3A). In the strong-coupling regime, the Fermi liquid is stabilized by the Kondo effect in the S^3A and is further stabilized by the Fock-type term of the superexchange interaction or the resonating-valence-bond (RVB) mechanism beyond the S^3A. The stabilized Fermi liquid is frustrated as much as an RVB spin liquid in the Heisenberg model. It is a relevant unperturbed state that can be used to study a normal or anomalous Fermi liquid and an ordered state in the whole Hilbert space by Kondo lattice theory. Even if higher-order multisite terms than the Fock-type term are considered, the ground state cannot be a Mott insulator. It can be merely a gapless semiconductor even if the multisite self-energy is so anomalous that it is divergent at the chemical potential. A Mott insulator is only possible as a high temperature phase.
