Superconductivity and superconducting order parameter phase fluctuations in a weakly doped antiferromagnet
Abstract: The superconducting properties of a recently proposed phenomenological model for a weakly doped antiferromagnet are analyzed, taking into account fluctuations of the phase of the order parameter. In this model, we assume that the doped charge carriers can't move out of the antiferromagnetic sublattice they were introduced. This case corresponds to the free carrier spectra with the maximum at… ▽ More

Nonequilibrium dynamical mean-field theory
Abstract: The many-body formalism for dynamical mean-field theory is extended to treat nonequilibrium problems. We illustrate how the formalism works by examining the transient decay of the oscillating current that is driven by a large electric field turned on at time t=0. We show how the Bloch oscillations are quenched by the electron-electron interactions, and how their character changes dramatically fo… ▽ More

Spectral moment sum rules for strongly correlated electrons in time-dependent electric fields
Abstract: We derive exact operator average expressions for the first two spectral moments of nonequilibrium Green's functions for the Falicov-Kimball model and the Hubbard model in the presence of a spatially uniform, time-dependent electric field. The moments are similar to the well-known moments in equilibrium, but we extend those results to systems in arbitrary time-dependent electric fields. Moment su… ▽ More

Steady-state nonequilibrium dynamical mean-field theory and the quantum Boltzman
Abstract: We derive the formalism for steady state nonequilibrium dynamical mean-field theory in a real-time formalism along the Kadanoff-Baym contour. The resulting equations of motion are first transformed to Wigner coordinates (average and relative time), and then re-expressed in terms of differential operators. Finally, we perform a Fourier transform with respect to the relative time, and take the fir… ▽ More

Fluctuating order parameter in doped cuprate superconductors
Abstract: We discuss static fluctuations of the d-wave superconducting order parameter $
Δ $ in CuO$_2$ planes, due to quasiparticle scattering by charged dopants. The analysis of two-particle anomalous Green functions at $T = 0$ permits to estimate the mean-square fluctuation $δ ^2 = <Δ ^2> - <Δ >^2$, averaged in random dopant configurations, to the lowest order in doping level $c$. Since $Δ $ is found to satu… ▽ MoreSubmitted 14 February, 2003; originally announced February 2003.

Green function of fermions in 2D superconducting Frohlich model with inhomogeneous order parameter
Abstract: The fermion Green function and spectral characteristics for the 2D Frohlich model of superconductivity at static fluctuations in the phase of the order parameter are calculated. The results demonstrate strongly non-Fermi-liquid properties of the system at finite temperatures and relate with the pseudogap behavior of high-$T_{c}$ superconductors at relatively small charge carrier densities.

On temperature versus doping phase diagram of high critiical temperature superconductors
Abstract: The attempt to describe the bell-shape dependence of the critical temperature of high-$T_{c}$ superconductors on charge carriers density is made. Its linear increase in the region of small densities (underdoped regime) is proposed to explain by the role of the order parameter phase 2D fluctuations which become less at this density growth. The critical temperature suppression in the region of lar… ▽ More

On the Theory of the Pseudogap Formation in 2D Attracting Fermion Systems
Abstract: Two-dimensional system of the fermions with the indirect Einstein phonon-exchange attraction and added local four-fermion interaction is considered. It is shown that in such a system at resulting attraction between particles a new nonsuperconducting phase arises along with the normal and superconducting phases. In this, called "abnormal normal", or pseudogap, phase the absolute value of the orde… ▽ More

Phase diagram in 2D Fröhlich model of metal at arbitrary carrier density: pseudogap versus doping
Abstract: It is shown that in 2D system of the fermions with simplest indirect boson-induced attraction (through the Einstein phonon exchange as an example) along with the normal and superconducting phases there arises a new (called "abnormal normal" or pseudogap) one where the absolute value of the order parameter is finite but its phase is a random quantity. It is important that this new phase really ex… ▽ More
