Search for charmed baryons in the $Λらむだ_c^+ηいーた$ system and measurement of the branching fractions of $Λらむだ_c(2880)^+$ and $Λらむだ_c(2940)^+$ decaying to $Λらむだ_c^+ηいーた$ and $pD^0$ relative to $Σしぐま_c(2455)πぱい$

Abstract: We search for excited charmed baryons in the $Λらむだ_c^+ηいーた$ system using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 980 $\rm fb^{-1}$. The data were collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^{+}$$e^{-}$ asymmetric-energy collider. No significant signals are found in the $Λらむだ_c^+ηいーた$ mass spectrum, including the known $Λらむだ_c(2880)^+$ and $Λらむだ_c(2940)^+$. We set upper limits at 90\% credibility level on ratios of branching fractions of $Λらむだ_c(2880)^+$ and $Λらむだ_c(2940)^+$ decaying to $Λらむだ_c^+ηいーた$ relative to $Σしぐま_c(2455)πぱい$ of $<0.13$ for the $Λらむだ_c(2880)^+$ and $<1.11$ for the $Λらむだ_c(2940)^+$. We measure ratios of branching fractions of $Λらむだ_c(2880)^+$ and $Λらむだ_c(2940)^+$ decaying to $pD^0$ relative to $Σしぐま_c(2455)πぱい$ of $0.75 \pm 0.03(\text{stat.}) \pm 0.07(\text{syst.})$ for the $Λらむだ_c(2880)^+$ and $3.59 \pm 0.21(\text{stat.}) \pm 0.56(\text{syst.})$ for the $Λらむだ_c(2940)^+$. △ Less

By multiplying by the branching fraction of the normalization mode, ${\mathcal B}(Ξくしー_{c}^{0}\toΞくしー^{-}πぱい^{+})$, we obtain the following absolute branching fraction results $(6.9 \pm 0.3 ({\rm stat}) \pm 0.5 ({\rm syst}) \pm 1.3 ({\rm norm})) \times 10^{-3}$, $(1.6 \pm 0.2 ({\rm stat}) \pm 0.2 ({\rm syst}) \pm 0.3 ({\rm norm})) \times 10^{-3}$, and $(1.2 \pm 0.3 ({\rm stat}) \pm 0.1 ({\rm syst}) \pm 0.2 ({\rm norm})) \times 10^{-3}$, for $Ξくしー_{c}^{0}$ decays to $Ξくしー^{0}πぱい^{0}$, $Ξくしー^{0}ηいーた$, and $Ξくしー^{0}ηいーた^{\prime}$ final states, respectively. The third errors are from the uncertainty on ${\mathcal B}(Ξくしー_{c}^{0}\toΞくしー^{-}πぱい^{+})$. Binary Black Holes and Quantum Off-Shell Recursion

Abstract: The quantum off-shell recursion provides an efficient and universal computational tool for loop-level scattering amplitudes. In this work, we present a new comprehensive computational framework based on the quantum off-shell recursion for binary black hole systems. Using the quantum perturbiner method, we derive the recursions and solve them explicitly up to two-loop order. In this work, we present a new comprehensive computational framework based on the quantum off-shell recursion for binary black hole systems. Using the quantum perturbiner method, we derive the recursions and solve them explicitly up to two-loop order. We develop a power-counting prescription that enables the straightforward separation of classical diagrams. We also devise a classification scheme that optimizes the integration by parts (IBP) reduction process, which makes higher-loop calculations more tractable. By employing the soft expansion technique, we remove irrelevant terms from the loop integrands and express them in terms of master integrals. We classify the one-loop and the two-loop classical diagrams, and their loop integrands are represented by linear combinations of the master integrals. Finally, we explicitly calculate the classical scalar 2 to 2 amplitudes in the potential region up to the 3PM order and reproduce the known results. △ Less

First Simultaneous Determination of Inclusive and Exclusive $\left|V_{ub}\right|$

We analyze collision events in which one $B$ meson is fully reconstructed in hadronic modes. This allows for the reconstruction of the hadronic $X_u$ system of the semileptonic $b \to u \ell \bar νにゅー_\ell$ decay. We separate exclusive $B \to πぱい\, \ell\, \bar νにゅー_{\ell}$ decays from other inclusive $B \to X_u \, \ell\, \bar νにゅー_{\ell}$ and backgrounds with a two-dimensional fit, that utilizes the number of charged pions in the $X_u$ system and the four-momentum transfer $q^2$ between the $B$ and $X_u$ system. Combining our measurement with information from lattice QCD and QCD calculations of the inclusive partial rate as well as external experimental information on the shape of the $B \to πぱい\, \ell\, \bar νにゅー_{\ell}$ form factor, we determine $\left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{excl.}} \right| = (3.78 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.16 \pm 0.14)\times 10^{-3}$ and $\left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{incl.}} \right| = (3.88 \pm 0.20 \pm 0.31 \pm 0.09)\times 10^{-3}$, respectively, with the uncertainties being the statistical error, systematic errors, and theory errors. The ratio of $\left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{excl.}} \right| / \left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{incl.}} \right| = 0.97 \pm 0.12$ is compatible with unity. △ Less

Impact of cross-section uncertainties on supernova neutrino spectral parameter fitting in the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment

Abstract: A primary goal of the upcoming Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is to measure the $\mathcal{O}(10)$ MeV neutrinos produced by a Galactic core-collapse supernova if one should occur during the lifetime of the experiment. The liquid-argon-based detectors planned for DUNE are expected to be uniquely sensitive to the $νにゅー_e$ component of the supernova flux, enabling a wide variety of physics… ▽ More A primary goal of the upcoming Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is to measure the $\mathcal{O}(10)$ MeV neutrinos produced by a Galactic core-collapse supernova if one should occur during the lifetime of the experiment. The liquid-argon-based detectors planned for DUNE are expected to be uniquely sensitive to the $νにゅー_e$ component of the supernova flux, enabling a wide variety of physics and astrophysics measurements. A key requirement for a correct interpretation of these measurements is a good understanding of the energy-dependent total cross section $σしぐま(E_νにゅー)$ for charged-current $νにゅー_e$ absorption on argon. In the context of a simulated extraction of supernova $νにゅー_e$ spectral parameters from a toy analysis, we investigate the impact of $σしぐま(E_νにゅー)$ modeling uncertainties on DUNE's supernova neutrino physics sensitivity for the first time. We find that the currently large theoretical uncertainties on $σしぐま(E_νにゅー)$ must be substantially reduced before the $νにゅー_e$ flux parameters can be extracted reliably: in the absence of external constraints, a measurement of the integrated neutrino luminosity with less than 10\% bias with DUNE requires $σしぐま(E_νにゅー)$ to be known to about 5%. The neutrino spectral shape parameters can be known to better than 10% for a 20% uncertainty on the cross-section scale, although they will be sensitive to uncertainties on the shape of $σしぐま(E_νにゅー)$. A direct measurement of low-energy $νにゅー_e$-argon scattering would be invaluable for improving the theoretical precision to the needed level. △ Less

One of the main challenges is to develop an up-to-date, universal and fast simulation tool to simulate these applications. We present a new simulation model of electromagnetic processes in oriented crystals implemented into Geant4, which is a toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter. We also perform a study of the impact of preliminary beyond zero-recoil lattice QCD calculations on the $|V_{cb}|$ determinations. Additionally, we present the lepton flavor universality ratio $R_{eμみゅー} = \mathcal{B}(B \to D^* e \barνにゅー_e) / \mathcal{B}(B \to D^* μみゅー\barνにゅー_μみゅー) = 0.990 \pm 0.021 \pm 0.023$, the electron and muon forward-backward asymmetry and their difference $ΔでるたA_{FB}=0.022\pm0.026\pm 0.007$, and the electron and muon $D^*$ longitudinal polarization fraction and their difference $ΔでるたF_L^{D^*} = 0.034 \pm 0.024 \pm 0.007$. Abstract: We study the processes $e^+e^-\toωおめがχかい_{bJ}(1P)$ ($J$ = 0, 1, or 2) using samples at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.701, 10.745, and 10.805 GeV, corresponding to 1.6, 9.8, and 4.7 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, respectively. These data were collected with the Belle II detector during special operations of the SuperKEKB collider above the $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ resonance. We report the first observatio… ▽ More We study the processes $e^+e^-\toωおめがχかい_{bJ}(1P)$ ($J$ = 0, 1, or 2) using samples at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.701, 10.745, and 10.805 GeV, corresponding to 1.6, 9.8, and 4.7 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, respectively. These data were collected with the Belle II detector during special operations of the SuperKEKB collider above the $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ resonance. We report the first observation of $ωおめがχかい_{bJ}(1P)$ signals at $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.745 GeV. By combining Belle II data with Belle results at $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.867 GeV, we find energy dependencies of the Born cross sections for $e^+e^-\to ωおめがχかい_{b1,b2}(1P)$ to be consistent with the shape of the $Υうぷしろん(10753)$ state. These data indicate that the internal structures of the $Υうぷしろん(10753)$ and $Υうぷしろん(10860)$ states may differ. Including data at $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.653 GeV, we also search for the bottomonium equivalent of the $X(3872)$ state decaying into $ωおめがΥうぷしろん(1S)$. No significant signal is observed for masses between 10.45 and 10.65 GeV/$c^2$. △ Less

Using $\mathcal{B}_{Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ πぱい^0}=(1.25 \pm 0.10)\%$, we obtain $\mathcal{B}_{Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた}=(3.14 \pm 0.35 \pm 0.11 \pm 0.25)\times10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal{B}_{Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた'}=(4.16 \pm 0.75 \pm 0.21 \pm 0.33)\times10^{-3}$. Here the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and from $\mathcal{B}_{Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ πぱい^0}$, respectively. The ratio of the branching fraction of $Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた'$ with respect to that of $Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた$ is measured to be $\mathcal{B}_{Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた'}/\mathcal{B}_{Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた}=1.34 \pm 0.28 \pm 0.06$. We update the asymmetry parameter of $Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ πぱい^0$, $αあるふぁ_{Σしぐま^+ πぱい^0} = -0.48 \pm 0.02 \pm 0.02$, with a considerably improved precision. The asymmetry parameters of $Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた$ and $Λらむだ_c^+ \to Σしぐま^+ ηいーた'$ are measured to be $αあるふぁ_{Σしぐま^+ ηいーた} = -0.99 \pm 0.03 \pm 0.05$ and $αあるふぁ_{Σしぐま^+ ηいーた'} = -0.46 \pm 0.06 \pm 0.03$ for the first time. △ Less

Abstract: We report on a Belle II measurement of the branching fraction ($\mathcal{B}$), longitudinal polarization fraction ($f_L$), and CP asymmetry ($\mathcal{A}_{CP}$) of $B^+\to ρろー^+ρろー^0$ decays. We reconstruct $B^+\to ρろー^+(\to πぱい^+πぱい^0(\to γがんまγがんま))ρろー^0(\to πぱい^+πぱい^-)$ decays in a sample of SuperKEKB electron-positron collisions collected by the Belle II experiment in 2019, 2020, and 2021 at the $Υうぷしろん$(4S) resonance an… ▽ More We report on a Belle II measurement of the branching fraction ($\mathcal{B}$), longitudinal polarization fraction ($f_L$), and CP asymmetry ($\mathcal{A}_{CP}$) of $B^+\to ρろー^+ρろー^0$ decays. We reconstruct $B^+\to ρろー^+(\to πぱい^+πぱい^0(\to γがんまγがんま))ρろー^0(\to πぱい^+πぱい^-)$ decays in a sample of SuperKEKB electron-positron collisions collected by the Belle II experiment in 2019, 2020, and 2021 at the $Υうぷしろん$(4S) resonance and corresponding to 190 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity. We fit the distributions of the difference between expected and observed $B$ candidate energy, continuum-suppression discriminant, dipion masses, and decay angles of the selected samples, to determine a signal yield of $345 \pm 31$ events. The signal yields are corrected for efficiencies determined from simulation and control data samples to obtain $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to ρろー^+ρろー^0) = [23.2^{+\ 2.2}_{-\ 2.1} (\rm stat) \pm 2.7 (\rm syst)]\times 10^{-6}$, $f_L = 0.943 ^{+\ 0.035}_{-\ 0.033} (\rm stat)\pm 0.027(\rm syst)$, and $\mathcal{A}_{CP}=-0.069 \pm 0.068(\rm stat) \pm 0.060 (\rm syst)$. The results agree with previous measurements. This is the first measurement of $\mathcal{A}_{CP}$ in $B^+\to ρろー^+ρろー^0$ decays reported by Belle II. △ Less

The corresponding branching fractions are measured to be ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to Σしぐま_{c}(2455)^{0} πぱい^{+} \bar{p}) = (1.09 \pm 0.06 \pm 0.07)\times10^{-4}$ and ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to Σしぐま_{c}(2455)^{++} πぱい^{-} \bar{p}) = (1.84\pm 0.11 \pm 0.12)\times 10^{-4}$, which are consistent with the world average values with improved precision. A new structure is found in the $M_{Σしぐま_{c}(2455)^{0,++}πぱい^{\pm}}$ spectrum with a significance of $4.2σしぐま$ including systematic uncertainty. The structure is possibly an excited $Λらむだ_{c}^{+}$ and is tentatively named $Λらむだ_{c}(2910)^{+}$. Its mass and width are measured to be $(2913.8 \pm 5.6 \pm 3.8)$ MeV/$c^{2}$ and $(51.8\pm20.0 \pm 18.8)$ MeV, respectively. The products of branching fractions for the $Λらむだ_{c}(2910)^{+}$ are measured to be ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to Λらむだ_{c}(2910)^{+}\bar{p})\times{\cal B}(Λらむだ_{c}(2910)^{+} \to Σしぐま_{c}(2455)^{0}πぱい^{+}) = (9.5 \pm 3.6 \pm 1.6)\times 10^{-6}$ and ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to Λらむだ_{c} (2910)^{+}\bar{p})\times {\cal B}(Λらむだ_{c}(2910)^{+} \to Σしぐま_{c}(2455)^{++}πぱい^{-}) = (1.24 \pm 0.35 \pm 0.10)\times 10^{-5}$. First Measurement of the $Λらむだ_c^+ \to p ηいーた'$ decay

Abstract: We present the first measurement of the branching fraction of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed (SCS) decay $Λらむだ_c^+ \to p ηいーた'$ with $ηいーた' \to ηいーたπぱい^+πぱい^-$, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 981 $\rm fb^{-1}$, collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^{+}$$e^{-}$ asymmetric-energy collider. Our results represent an approximately twofold improvement on the current world best upper limits for the $Υうぷしろん(1S)\to γがんまA^0(\to τたう^+τたう^-)$ production. For $A^0\to μみゅー^+μみゅー^-$, the upper limits on the product branching fractions for $Υうぷしろん(1S)\to γがんまA^0$ and $A^0\to μみゅー^+μみゅー^-$ are at the same level as the world average limits, and vary from $3.1\times10^{-7}$ to $1.6\times10^{-5}$. The upper limits at 90\% C.L. on the Yukawa coupling $f_{Υうぷしろん(1S)}$ and mixing angle ${\rm sin}θしーた_{A^0}$ are also given. △ Less

We fit the distributions of the difference between expected and observed $B$ candidate energy, continuum-suppression variable, dipion masses, and angular distributions of the resulting samples, to determine a signal yield of $104\pm16$ events. The signal yields are corrected for efficiencies determined from simulation and control data samples to obtain $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to ρろー^+ρろー^0) = [20.6 \pm 3.2(\rm stat) \pm 4.0(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-6}$, and $f_L(B^+ \to ρろー^+ρろー^0) = 0.936 ^{+0.049}_{-0.041}(\rm stat)\pm 0.021(\rm syst)$. This first Belle II $B^+ \to ρろー^+ρろー^0$ angular analysis yields results compatible with previous determinations, and indicates Belle II performance superior to early Belle results. △ Less

We use simulation to determine optimized event selections. The $ΔでるたE$ and $M_{\rm bc}$ distributions of the resulting samples are fit to determine signal yields of approximately 690, 840, and 380 decays for the channels $B^+ \to K^+K^-K^+$, $B^+ \to K^+πぱい^-πぱい^+$, and $B^0 \to K^+πぱい^-πぱい^0$, respectively. These yields are corrected for efficiencies determined from simulation and control data samples to obtain $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to K^+K^-K^+) = [35.8 \pm 1.6(\rm stat) \pm 1.4 (\rm syst)]\times 10^{-6}$, $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to K^+πぱい^-πぱい^+) = [67.0 \pm 3.3 (\rm stat)\pm 2.3 (\rm syst)]\times 10^{-6}$, $\mathcal{B}(B^0 \to K^+πぱい^-πぱい^0) = [38.1 \pm 3.5 (\rm stat)\pm 3.9 (\rm syst)]\times 10^{-6}$, $\mathcal{A}_{\rm CP}(B^+ \to K^+K^-K^+) = -0.103 \pm 0.042(\rm stat) \pm 0.020 (\rm syst)$, $\mathcal{A}_{\rm CP}(B^+ \to K^+πぱい^-πぱい^+) = -0.010 \pm 0.050 (\rm stat)\pm 0.021(\rm syst)$, and $\mathcal{A}_{\rm CP}(B^0 \to K^+πぱい^-πぱい^0) = 0.207 \pm 0.088 (\rm stat)\pm 0.011(\rm syst)$. The Off-Shell Recursion for Gravity and the Classical Double Copy for currents

Abstract: We construct the off-shell recursion for gravity and the graviton current for the perturbative double field theory (DFT). We first formulate the perturbative DFT, which is equivalent but simpler to perturbative general relativity, to all-orders in fluctuations of generalised metric. The perturbative action and equations of motion (EoM) are derived to arbitrary order for pure gravity case. We solve the recursion iteratively and obtain the graviton off-shell currents explicitly. We then discuss the classical double copy for the off-shell currents. We present the current KLT relation for gravity by extending the result proposed by Mizera and Skrzypek for the non-gravitational effective field theories. The relation represents graviton currents by squaring gluon currents with the KLT kernel up to gauge transformation and regular terms that do not have any pole. The moments are measured with progressively increasing threshold selections on $q^2$ starting with a lower value of 3.0 $\mathrm{GeV}^2$ in steps of 0.5 $\mathrm{GeV}^2$ up to a value of 10.0 $\mathrm{GeV}^2$. The measured moments are further unfolded, correcting for reconstruction and selection effects as well as QED final state radiation. Searching for solar KDAR with DUNE

Abstract: Using a data sample of 980~fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector operating at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we present evidence for the $Ωおめが(2012)^-$ in the resonant substructure of $Ωおめが_{c}^{0} \to πぱい^+ (\bar{K}Ξくしー)^{-}$ ($(\bar{K}Ξくしー)^{-}$ = $K^-Ξくしー^0$ + $\bar{K}^0 Ξくしー^-$) decays. We reconstruct and select about $50$ $B^0 \to K_S^0 πぱい^0$ candidates, and we measure $\mathcal{A}_{K^0πぱい^0} = -0.40_{-0.44}^{+0.46} (\text{stat}) \pm 0.04 (\text{syst})$ and $\mathcal{B}(B^0 \to K^0 πぱい^0) = [8.5_{-1.6}^{+1.7} (\text{stat}) \pm 1.2 (\text{syst})] \times 10^{-6}$. This is the first measurement of $CP$ violation in $B^0 \to K^0πぱい^0$ decays reported by Belle II. The branching fractions are measured to be ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_{c}^{0} \to Ξくしー^{-} e^{+} νにゅー_{e})=(1.31 \pm 0.04 \pm 0.07 \pm 0.38)\%$ and ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_{c}^{0} \to Ξくしー^{-} μみゅー^{+} νにゅー_μみゅー)=(1.27 \pm 0.06 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.37)\%$, and the decay parameter $αあるふぁ_{Ξくしーπぱい}$ is measured to be $0.63 \pm 0.03 \pm 0.01$ with much improved precision compared to the current world average. The corresponding ratio ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_{c}^{0} \to Ξくしー^{-} e^{+} νにゅー_{e})/{\cal B}(Ξくしー_{c}^{0} \to Ξくしー^{-} μみゅー^{+} νにゅー_μみゅー)$ is $1.03 \pm 0.05\pm 0.07$, which is consistent with the expectation of lepton flavor universality. The first measured asymmetry parameter ${\cal A}_{CP} = (αあるふぁ_{Ξくしー^{-}πぱい^{+}} + αあるふぁ_{\barΞくしー^{+}πぱい^{-}})/(αあるふぁ_{Ξくしー^{-}πぱい^{+}} - αあるふぁ_{\barΞくしー^{+}πぱい^{-}}) = 0.024 \pm 0.052 \pm 0.014$ is found to be consistent with zero. The long-baseline physics sensitivity calculations presented in the DUNE Physics TDR, and in a related physics paper, rely upon simulation of the neutrino beam line, simulation of neutrino interactions in the near and far detectors, fully automated event reconstruction and neutrino classification, and detailed implementation of systematic uncertainties. The purpose of this posting is to provide a simplified summary of the simulations that went into this analysis to the community, in order to facilitate phenomenological studies of long-baseline oscillation at DUNE. Simulated neutrino flux files and a GLoBES configuration describing the far detector reconstruction and selection performance are included as ancillary files to this posting. A simple analysis using these configurations in GLoBES produces sensitivity that is similar, but not identical, to the official DUNE sensitivity. DUNE welcomes those interested in performing phenomenological work as members of the collaboration, but also recognizes the benefit of making these configurations readily available to the wider community. △ Less

The data were collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^{+}$$e^{-}$ asymmetric-energy collider. The signal yield of the $Λらむだ_c^+ \to p ηいーた$ process is $7734 \pm 263$; from this, we measure the ratio of branching fractions ${\cal B}(Λらむだ_c^+ \to p ηいーた)/{\cal B}(Λらむだ_c^+ \to p K^- πぱい^+) = (2.258 \pm 0. 077(\rm stat. ) \pm 0.136(\rm syst. ))\times 10^{-2}$, from which we infer the branching fraction ${\cal B}(Λらむだ_c^+ \to p ηいーた) = (1.42 \pm 0.05(\rm stat.) \pm 0.11(\rm syst.)) \times 10^{-3}$. In addition, no significant signal for $Λらむだ_c^+ \to p πぱい^0$ is found so an upper limit on the branching fraction of ${\cal B}(Λらむだ_c^+ \to p πぱい^0)<8.0 \times 10^{-5}$ at 90\% credibility level is set, more than three times better than the best current upper limit. △ Less

Abstract: We search for lepton-number- and baryon-number-violating decays $τたう^{-}\to\overline{p}e^{+}e^{-}$, $pe^{-}e^{-}$, $\overline{p}e^{+}μみゅー^{-}$, $\overline{p}e^{-}μみゅー^{+}$, $\overline{p}μみゅー^{+}μみゅー^{-}$, and $pμみゅー^{-}μみゅー^{-}$ using 921 fb$^{-1}$ of data, equivalent to $(841\pm12)\times 10^6$ $τたう^{+}τたう^{-}$ events, recorded with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider. Abstract: We report on first measurements of branching fractions~($\mathcal{B}$) and CP-violating charge asymmetries~($\mathcal{A}$) in charmless $B$ decays at Belle~II. We use a sample of electron-positron collisions collected in 2019 and 2020 at the $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ resonance and corresponding to $34.6$\,fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity. Signal yields are corrected for efficiencies determined from simulation and control data samples to obtain branching fractions and CP-violating asymmetries for flavour-specific channels. These are the first measurements in charmless decays reported by Belle~II. Abstract: We report the measurement of $e^+e^- \to D^+_sD^*_{s2}(2573)^-+c.c.$ via initial-state radiation using a data sample of an integrated luminosity of 921.9 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector at the $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ and nearby. Stringy Newton Gravity with $H$-flux

The signal yields for these decays are extracted from the recoil mass spectrum of the system recoiling against $\barΛらむだ_{c}^{-}$ baryons in selected $B^-$ candidates. The branching fraction of $B^{-} \to \barΛらむだ_{c}^{-} Ξくしー_{c}(2790)^{0}$ is measured to be $ (1.1 \pm 0.4 \pm 0.2)\times 10^{-3}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. Our analysis is based on a data set of $(772\pm 11)\times 10^{6}$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at the $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. We measure the absolute branching fraction of $\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛらむだ_{c}^{-} Ξくしー_{c}^{+}$ with the $Ξくしー_c^+$ recoiling against $\barΛらむだ_c^-$ in $\bar{B}^0$ decays resulting in ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛらむだ_{c}^{-} Ξくしー_{c}^{+}) = [1.16 \pm 0.42(\rm stat.) \pm 0.15(\rm syst.)] \times 10^{-3}$. We then measure the product branching fractions ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛらむだ_c^- Ξくしー_c^+){\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^+ \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+ πぱい^+)$ and ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛらむだ_c^- Ξくしー_c^+){\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^+ \to p K^- πぱい^+)$. Dividing these product branching fractions by $\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛらむだ_{c}^{-} Ξくしー_{c}^{+}$ yields: ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^+ \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+ πぱい^+) = [2.86 \pm 1.21(\rm stat.) \pm 0.38(\rm syst.)]\%$ and ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^+ \to p K^- πぱい^+)=[0.45 \pm 0.21(\rm stat.) \pm 0.07(\rm syst.)]\%$. Our result for ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^+ \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+ πぱい^+)$ can be combined with $Ξくしー_c^+$ branching fractions measured relative to $Ξくしー_c^+ \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+ πぱい^+$ to set the absolute scale for many $Ξくしー_c^+$ branching fractions. △ Less

First measurements of absolute branching fractions of $Ξくしー_c^0$ at Belle

We subsequently measure the product branching fractions ${\cal B}(B^- \to \barΛらむだ_c^- Ξくしー_c^0){\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+)$, ${\cal B}( B^- \to \barΛらむだ_c^- Ξくしー_c^0) {\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to ΛらむだK^- πぱい^+)$, and ${\cal B}( B^- \to \barΛらむだ_c^- Ξくしー_c^0) {\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to p K^- K^- πぱい^+)$ with improved precision. Dividing these product branching fractions by the result for $B^- \to \barΛらむだ_c^- Ξくしー_c^0$ yields the following branching fractions: ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+)= (1.80 \pm 0.50 \pm 0.14)\%$, ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to ΛらむだK^- πぱい^+)=(1.17 \pm 0.37 \pm 0.09)\%$, and ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to p K^- K^- πぱい^+)=(0.58 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.05)\%.$ For the above branching fractions, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Our result for ${\cal B}(Ξくしー_c^0 \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+)$ can be combined with $Ξくしー_c^0$ branching fractions measured relative to $Ξくしー_c^0 \to Ξくしー^- πぱい^+$ to yield other absolute $Ξくしー_c^0$ branching fractions. △ Less

Abstract: Using data samples of 89.5~fb$^{-1}$, 711.0~fb$^{-1}$, and 121.4~fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider at center-of-mass energies 10.52 GeV, 10.58 GeV, and 10.867 GeV, respectively, we study the exclusive reactions $e^+e^-\toγがんまχかい_{cJ}$ ($J = 0,~1,~2$) and $e^+e^-\toγがんまηいーた_c$. A significant $γがんまχかい_{c1}$ signal is observed for the first time at… ▽ More Using data samples of 89.5~fb$^{-1}$, 711.0~fb$^{-1}$, and 121.4~fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider at center-of-mass energies 10.52 GeV, 10.58 GeV, and 10.867 GeV, respectively, we study the exclusive reactions $e^+e^-\toγがんまχかい_{cJ}$ ($J = 0,~1,~2$) and $e^+e^-\toγがんまηいーた_c$. A significant $γがんまχかい_{c1}$ signal is observed for the first time at $\sqrt{s}=10.58$ GeV with a significance of $5.1σしぐま$ including systematic uncertainties. No significant excesses for $γがんまχかい_{c0}$, $γがんまχかい_{c2}$, and $γがんまηいーた_c$ final states are found, and we set 90\% credibility level upper limits on the Born cross sections ($σしぐま_{\rm B}$) at 10.52 GeV, 10.58 GeV, and 10.867~GeV. Belle II collected its first collisions in 2018, and is expected to operate for the next decade. It is anticipated to collect 50/ab of collision data over its lifetime. This book is the outcome of a joint effort of Belle II collaborators and theorists through the Belle II theory interface platform (B2TiP), an effort that commenced in 2014. The aim of B2TiP was to elucidate the potential impacts of the Belle II program, which includes a wide scope of physics topics: B physics, charm, tau, quarkonium, electroweak precision measurements and dark sector searches. It is composed of nine working groups (WGs), which are coordinated by teams of theorist and experimentalists conveners: Semileptonic and leptonic B decays, Radiative and Electroweak penguins, phi_1 and phi_2 (time-dependent CP violation) measurements, phi_3 measurements, Charmless hadronic B decay, Charm, Quarkonium(like), tau and low-multiplicity processes, new physics and global fit analyses. This book highlights "golden- and silver-channels", i.e. those that would have the highest potential impact in the field. Theorists scrutinised the role of those measurements and estimated the respective theoretical uncertainties, achievable now as well as prospects for the future. Experimentalists investigated the expected improvements with the large dataset expected from Belle II, taking into account improved performance from the upgraded detector. △ Less

Using a sum-of-exclusive technique with invariant $X_s$ mass up to 2.8~GeV/$c^2$, we obtain $Δでるた_{0-} = \bigl[-0.48 \pm 1.49 {\rm (stat.)} \pm 0.97 {\rm (syst.)} \pm 1.15 {(f_{+-}/f_{00})}\bigr]$\% and $ΔでるたA_{CP} = \bigl[+3.69 \pm 2.65 {\rm (stat.)} \pm 0.76{\rm (syst.)}\bigr]$\%, where the last uncertainty for $Δでるた_{0-}$ is due to the uncertainty on the production ratio of $B^+B^-$ to $B^0\bar{B}^0$ in $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ decays. The measured value of $Δでるた_{0-}$ is consistent with zero, allowing us to constrain the resolved photon contribution in the $B \to X_s γがんま$, and improve the branching fraction prediction. The result for $ΔでるたA_{CP}$ is consistent with the prediction of the SM. We also measure the direct $CP$ asymmetries for charged and neutral $B \to X_s γがんま$ decays. The charged $Ξくしー_{c}(2930)^+$ is found in its decay to $K_{S}^{0} Λらむだ_{c}^+$ in the substructure of $\bar{B}^{0} \to K^{0}_{S} Λらむだ_{c}^{+} \barΛらむだ_{c}^{-}$ decays. We also measure $\cal{B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \bar{K}^{0} Λらむだ_{c}^{+} \barΛらむだ_{c}^{-}) = [3.99 \pm 0.76(\rm stat.) \pm 0.51(\rm syst.)] \times 10^{-4}$ with greater precision than previous experiments, and present the results of a search for the charmonium-like state $Y(4660)$ and its spin partner, $Y_ηいーた$, in the $Λらむだ_{c}^{+}\barΛらむだ_{c}^{-}$ invariant mass spectrum. No clear signals of the $Y(4660)$ or $Y_ηいーた$ are observed and the 90\% credibility level (C.L.) upper limits on their production rates are determined. These measurements are obtained from a sample of $(772\pm11)\times 10^{6} B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at the $Υうぷしろん(4S)$ resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy electron-positron collider. △ Less
