To obtain this model, three singlet new Higgs superfields and right-handed neutrinos are added to the MSSM, which can explain the results of neutrino oscillation experiments. The neutrino transition magnetic moment is induced by electroweak radiative corrections. By applying effective Lagrangian method and on-shell scheme, we study the associated Feynman diagrams and the transition magnetic moment of neutrinos in the model. We fit experimental data for neutrino mass variances and mixing angle. Based on the range of data selection, the influences of different sensitive parameters on the results are analysed. The numerical analysis shows that many parameters have an effect on the neutrino transition moment, such as $g_X$, $M_2$, $λ_H$ and $g_{YX}$. For our numerical results, the order of magnitude of $μ_{ij}$ is between $10^{-20}$ and $10^{-19}$.

Combined with the Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) and the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) E821 result, the departure from the SM prediction is about 5.0 $σ$. We study the electroweak corrections from several type two-loop SUSY diagrams and the virtual SUSY particles include chargino, neutralino, scalar lepton and scalar neutrino. Based on the latest experimental constraints, we study the muon MDM under the next to the minimal supersymmetric extension of the SM with local B-L gauge symmetry (N-B-LSSM). The abundant numerical results verify that $\tanβ,~T_e,~M^2_L,~M^2_e,~M_{BB'}$ and $M^2_{eij}$ play an important role in muon MDM. $M^2_e,~\tanβ$ and $T_e$ are sensitive parameters to muon MDM. From the data obtained in all the figures of the numerical results, most of the values of $a_μ^{NBL}$ are in 2$σ$ interval, which can compensate the departure between the experiment data and the SM prediction.

We present a method to compute lightcone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) of heavy meson within heavy quark effective theory (HQET). Our method utilizes quasi distribution amplitudes (quasi-DAs) with a large momentum component $P^z$. We point out that by sequentially integrating out $P^z$ and $m_H$, one can disentangle different dynamical scales. Integrating out $P^z$ allows to connect quasi-DAs to QCD LCDAs, and then integrating out $m_H$ enables to relate QCD LCDAs to HQET LCDAs. To verify this proposal, we make use of lattice QCD simulation on a lattice ensemble with spacing $a = 0.05187$\,fm. The preliminary findings for HQET LCDAs qualitatively align with phenomenological models. Using a recent model for HQET LCDAs, we also fit the first inverse moment $λ_B^{-1}$ and the result is consistent with the experimentally constrain from $B \to γ\ellν_\ell$. This agreement demonstrates the promise of our method in providing first-principle predictions for heavy meson LCDAs.

As the $U(1)$ extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), the $U(1)_X$SSM features new superfields such as the right-handed neutrinos and three Higgs singlets. We analyze the effects of different sensitive parameters on the results and make reasonable theorecial predictions, which provides a useful reference for future experimental development. Considering the constraint of the updated experimental data, the numerical results show that the branching ratios of all four processes $t\rightarrow cγ,~cg,~cZ,~ch$ can reach the same order of magnitude as their experimental upper limits. Among them, $\tanβ$ has the most obvious effect on each process and is the main parameter. $g_X$, $g_{YX}$, $μ$, $M_2$, $λ_H$, $M_{U23}^2$ and $M_{Q23}^2$ are important parameters for the processes, and have effects on the numerical results.

In the parameter space accommodating the DM relic density and muon $g-2$ anomaly, the model can achieve a first order $U(1)_{L_μ-L_τ}$ breaking phase transition, whose strength is sensitive to the parameters of Higgs potential. The corresponding gravitational wave spectra can reach the sensitivity of U-DECIGO. In addition, the direct searches at the LHC impose stringent bound on the mass spectra of the vector-like leptons and dark matter.

We calculate the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to $B$ to scalar meson form factors from QCD light-cone sum rules with $B$ meson light-cone distribution amplitudes. We demonstrate that the $B$ meson-to-vacuum correlation functions can be factorized into the convolution of short-distance coefficients and light-cone distribution amplitudes at the one-loop level and find that only $φ_B^+(ω,μ)$ contributes to the form factors. We then employ the $z$-parameterization combined with constraints from strong coupling constants to reconstruct the $q^2$ dependence of the form factors in the whole kinematic allowed regions. Due to the large cancellations between the hard functions and the jet functions, the next-to-leading order results show a modest increase of approximately 5\% compared to the leading order results. Based on the results of form factors, we predict the branching ratios of semi-leptonic $B\to S\ell\barν_\ell$ and $B\to Sν_\ell\barν_\ell$ processes, as well as several angular observables, such as forward-backward asymmetries, "flat terms" and lepton polarization asymmetries. We compare these results with calculations from other methods. Experimental verification of these results is required in future experiments.

Combined with the latest experimental results, we analyze the relationship between different sensitive parameters and the branching ratios of the three processes. More than a century after the performance of the oil drop experiment, the possible existence of fractionally charged particles FCP still remains unsettled. The search for FCPs is crucial for some extensions of the Standard Model in particle physics. Most of the previously conducted searches for FCPs in cosmic rays were based on experiments underground or at high altitudes. However, there have been few searches for FCPs in cosmic rays carried out in orbit other than AMS-01 flown by a space shuttle and BESS by a balloon at the top of the atmosphere. In this study, we conduct an FCP search in space based on on-orbit data obtained using the DArk Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) satellite over a period of five years. Unlike underground experiments, which require an FCP energy of the order of hundreds of GeV, our FCP search starts at only a few GeV. An upper limit of $6.2\times 10^{-10}~~\mathrm{cm^{-2}sr^{-1} s^{-1}}$ is obtained for the flux. Our results demonstrate that DAMPE exhibits higher sensitivity than experiments of similar types by three orders of magnitude that more stringently restricts the conditions for the existence of FCP in primary cosmic rays.

We find that the CDF $W$-mass disfavors $m_{E_1}= m_{E_2}={m_N}$ or $s_L=s_R=0$ where $s_{L(R)}$ is mixing parameter of left (right)-handed fields of vector-like leptons. A large mass splitting between $E_1$ and $E_2$ is favored when the differences between $s_L$ and $s_R$ becomes small. The muon $g-2$ anomaly can be simultaneously explained for appropriate difference between $s_L$ $(m_{E_1})$ and $s_R$ $(m_{E_2})$, and some regions are excluded by the diphoton signal data of the 125 GeV Higgs. Combined with the CDF $W$-mass, muon $g-2$ anomaly and other relevant constraints, the correct dark matter relic density is mainly obtained in two different scenarios: (i) $X_IX_I\to Z'Z',~ SS$ for $m_{Z'}(m_S)<m_{X_I}$ and (ii) the co-annihilation processes for $min(m_{E_1},m_{E_2},m_N,m_{X_R})$ closed to $m_{X_I}$. Finally, we use the direct searches for $2\ell+E_T^{miss}$ event at the LHC to constrain the model, and show the allowed mass ranges of the vector-like leptons and dark matter.

The muon collider provides a unique opportunity to study the vector boson scattering processes and dimension-8 operators contributing to anomalous quartic gauge couplings~(aQGCs). Because of the cleaner final state, it is easier to decode subprocess and certain operator couplings at a muon collider. We attempt to identify the anomalous $WWWW$ coupling in the exclusive $WW\to WW$ scattering in this paper. Since one aQGC can be induced by multiple dimension-8 operators, the study of one coupling can help to confine different operators. Meanwhile, singling out the $WW\to WW$ process can help to study the unitarity bounds. The vector boson scattering process corresponding to the anomalous $WWWW$ coupling is $μ^+μ^-\to νν\barν\barν\ell^+\ell^-$, with four (anti-)neutrinos in the final state, which brings troubles in phenomenological studies. In this paper, the machine learning method is used to tackle this problem. We find that, using the artificial neural network can extract the $W^+W^-\to W^+W^-$ contribution, and is helpful to reconstruct the center of mass energy of the subprocess which is important in the study of the Standard Model effective field theory. The sensitivities and the expected constraints on the dimension-8 operators at the muon collider with $\sqrt{s}=30$ TeV are presented. We demonstrate that the artificial neural networks exhibit great potential in the phenomenological study of processes with multiple neutrinos in the final state.

It plays as a gauge boson collider because the vector boson scattering (VBS) becomes the dominant production topology for Standard Model processes starting from a few TeV of collision energy. In this paper, we propose that the process of $μ^+μ^-$ annihilation into tri-photon is also very sensitive to the search of anomalous quartic gauge couplings (aQGCs). We investigate the projected constraints on the transverse operators contributing to aQGCs through $μ^+μ^-\to Z^\ast/γ^\ast\to γγγ$ at muon colliders. For the muon collider with $\sqrt{s}=3$ TeV and $\mathcal{L}=1\;{\rm ab}^{-1}$, the expected constraints are about two orders of magnitude stronger than those at the 13 TeV LHC.

We obtain the following observations: (i) Combined with theoretical constraints, the CDF $W$-mass measurement disfavors $H$ or $A$ to degenerate in mass with $H^\pm$, but allows $H$ and $A$ to degenerate. The mass splitting between $H^\pm$ and $H/A$ is required to be larger than 10 GeV. The $m_{H^\pm}$ and $m_{A}$ are favored to be smaller than 650 GeV for $m_H<120$ GeV, and allowed to have more large values with increasing of $m_H$. (ii) After imposing other relevant experimental constraints, there are parameter spaces that simultaneously satisfy (at $2σ$ level) the CDF $W$-mass, the FNAL muon $g-2$ and the data of lepton universality in $τ$ decays, but the mass splittings among extra Higgs bosons are strictly constrained.

In this work $cc$ ($\bar c\bar c$) is treated as a color anti-triplet (triplet) axial-vector so the quantum numbers of $cc$-$\bar c\bar c$ bound state are $0^+$, $1^+$ and $2^+$. Learning from the interaction in meson case and using the effective coupling we suggest the interaction kernel for diquark and antidiquark system. Then we deduce the B-S equations for different quantum numbers. Solving these equations numerically we find the spectra of some excited states can be close to the mass of $X(6900)$ when we assign appropriate values for parameter $κ$ introduced in the interaction (kernel). We also briefly calculate the spectra of $bb$-$\bar b\bar b$ bound states. Future measurement of $bb$-$\bar b\bar b$ state will help us to determine the exact form of effective interaction.

In the framework of type-II two-Higgs-doublet model with a singlet scalar dark matter $S$, we study the dark matter observables, the electroweak phase transition, and the gravitational wave signals by such strongly first order phase transition after imposing the constraints of the LHC Higgs data. We take the heavy CP-even Higgs $H$ as the only portal between the dark matter and SM sectors, and find the LHC Higgs data and dark matter observables require $m_S$ and $m_H$ to be larger than 130 GeV and 360 GeV for $m_A=600$ GeV in the case of the 125 GeV Higgs with the SM-like coupling. Next, we carve out some parameter space where a strongly first order electroweak phase transition can be achieved, and find benchmark points for which the amplitudes of gravitational wave spectra reach the sensitivities of the future gravitational wave detectors.

The $Ξ_c^0$ baryon is unstable and usually decays into charmless final states by the $c \to s u\overline{d}$ transition. It can, however, also disintegrate into a $π^-$ meson and a $Λ_c^+$ baryon via $s$ quark decay or via $cs\to d c$ weak scattering. The interplay between the latter two processes governs the size of the branching fraction ${\cal{B}}$$(Ξ_c^0\to π^-Λ_c^+)$, first measured here to be $(0.55\pm 0.02 \pm 0.18)$%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and second systematic. This result is compatible with the larger of the theoretical predictions that connect models of hyperon decays using partially conserved axial currents and SU(3) symmetry with those involving the heavy-quark expansion and heavy-quark symmetry. In addition, the branching fraction of the normalization channel, ${\cal{B}}(Ξ_c^+\to p K^- π^+) = (1.135 \pm 0.002 \pm 0.387)$% is measured.

In light of the recent LHC Higgs data, we examine the parameter space of type II two-Higgs-doublet model in which the 125 GeV Higgs has the wrong sign Yukawa couplings. Combining related theoretical and experimental limits, we find that the LHC Higgs data exclude most of the parameter space of the wrong sign Yukawa coupling. For $m_H=$ 600 GeV, the allowed samples are mainly distributed in several corners and narrow bands of m_A<20 GeV, 30 GeV<m_A<120 GeV, 240 GeV<m_A<300 GeV, 380 GeV <m_A<430 GeV, and 480 GeV<m_A<550 GeV. For m_A=600 GeV, m_H is required to be less than 470 GeV. The light pseudo-scalar with a mass of 20 GeV is still allowed in case of the wrong sign Yukawa coupling of 125 GeV Higgs.

The natural widths of the three lower mass states are consistent with zero, and the 90% confidence-level upper limits are determined to be ${Γ(Ω_b(6316)^-)<2.8}$ MeV, ${Γ(Ω_b(6330)^-)<3.1}$ MeV and ${Γ(Ω_b(6340)^-)<1.5}$ MeV. The natural width of the $Ω_b(6350)^-$ peak is $1.4^{+1.0}_{-0.8}\pm0.1$ MeV, which is 2.5$σ$ from zero and corresponds to an upper limit of 2.8 MeV. The peaks have local significances ranging from 3.6$σ$ to 7.2$σ$. After accounting for the look-elsewhere effect, the significances of the $Ω_b(6316)^-$ and $Ω_b(6330)^-$ peaks are reduced to 2.1$σ$ and 2.6$σ$ respectively, while the two higher mass peaks exceed 5$σ$. The observed peaks are consistent with expectations for excited $Ω_b^-$ resonances.

We present the first results on isospin amplitudes in $b$-baryon decays, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.5 fb$^{-1}$, collected with the LHCb detector in $pp$ collisions at center of mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The isospin amplitude ratio $|A_1(Λ_b^0\to J/ψΣ^0)/A_0(Λ_b^0\to J/ψΛ)|$, where the subscript on $A$ indicates the final-state isospin, is measured to be less than 1/21.8 at 95\% confidence level. The Cabibbo suppressed $Ξ_b^0\to J/ψΛ$ decay is observed for the first time, allowing for the measurement $|A_0(Ξ_b^0\to J/ψΛ)/A_{1/2}(Ξ_b^0\to J/ψΞ^0)| =0.37 \pm 0.06\pm 0.02$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

The charm baryons are reconstructed through the decays $Λ_c^+\to pK^-π^+$, $Ξ_c^+\to pK^-π^+$ and $Ξ_c^0\to pK^-K^-π^+$, and originate from semimuonic decays of beauty baryons. The lifetimes are measured relative to that of the $D^+$ meson, and are determined to be \begin{align*}
τ_{Λ_c^+} &= 203.5\pm1.0\pm1.3\pm1.4~{\rm fs}, \newline
τ_{Ξ_c^+} &= 456.8\pm3.5\pm2.9\pm3.1~{\rm fs}, \newline
τ_{Ξ_c^0} &= 154.5\pm1.7\pm1.6\pm1.0~{\rm fs}, \end{align*} where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the uncertainty in the $D^+$ lifetime. The measurements are approximately 3--4 times more precise than the current world average values. The $Λ_c^+$ and $Ξ_c^+$ lifetimes are in agreement with previous measurements; however, the $Ξ_c^0$ baryon lifetime is approximately 3.3 standard deviations larger than the world average value.

These ratios, averaged over the $b$-hadron transverse momenta from 4 to 25 GeV and pseudorapidity from 2 to 5, are $0.122 \pm 0.006$ for $\overline{B}_s^0$, and $0.259 \pm 0.018$ for $Λ_b^0$, where the uncertainties arise from both statistical and systematic sources. The $Λ_b^0$ ratio depends strongly on transverse momentum, while the $\overline{B}_s^0$ ratio shows a mild dependence. Neither ratio shows variations with pseudorapidity. The measurements are made using semileptonic decays to minimize theoretical uncertainties. In addition, the ratio of $D^+$ to $D^0$ mesons produced in the sum of $\overline{B}^0$ and $B^-$ semileptonic decays is determined as $0.359\pm0.006\pm 0.009$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic.

Also, some ratios for lepton universality in $τ$ decays have almost $2σ$ deviations from the Standard Model. In this paper, we propose a lepton-specific inert two-Higgs-doublet model. After imposing all the relevant theoretical and experimental constraints, we show that these lepton anomalies can be explained simultaneously in many parameter spaces with $m_H > 200$ GeV and $m_A~(m_{H^\pm})> 500$ GeV for appropriate Yukawa couplings between leptons and inert Higgs. The key point is that these Yukawa couplings for $μ$ and $τ$/$e$ have opposite sign.

The mechanism of two gluon scattering into $η^{(')}$ dominated the form factors of $B_{c}$ decays into $η^{(')}$. We considered the $η-η'-$Glueball mixing effect, and then obtained their influences on the form factors. The form factors of $B_{c}$ transitions into $η^{(')}$ and pseudoscalar Glueball in the maximum momentum recoil point were obtained as follows: $f^η_{0,+}(q^2=0)=1.38^{+0.00}_{-0.02}\times 10^{-3}$,$f^{η'}_{0,+}(q^2=0)=0.89^{+0.11}_{-0.10}\times 10^{-2}$ and $f^{G}_{0,+}(q^2=0)=0.44^{+0.13}_{-0.05}\times 10^{-2}$. The multiple-solution problem in determining the three-interfering-resonances' parameters from a fit to an experimentally measured distribution is considered in a mathematical viewpoint. In this paper it is shown that there are four numerical solutions for the fit with three coherent Breit-Wigner functions. Although the explicit analytical formulae can not be derived in this case, we provide some constraint equations between the four solutions. For the cases of nonrelativistic and relativistic Breit-Wigner forms of amplitude functions, numerical method is provided to derive the other solutions from the already obtained one based on the obtained constraint equations. In real experimental measurements with more complicated amplitude forms similar to Breit-Wigner functions, the same method can be deduced and performed to get numerical solutions. The well agreement between the solved solutions using this mathematical method and those from the fit directly verifies the correctness of the supplied constraint equations and mathematical methodology.

We examine the type-II two-Higgs-doublet model with a light scalar dark matter ($S$) after imposing the constraints from the Higgs searches at the LHC and dark matter experiments. We first assume that both two CP-even Higgses ($h$ and $H$) are portals between the DM and SM sectors, and the CP-odd Higgs ($A$) and $H$ are heavier than 130 GeV. We find that the DM with a mass of $10\sim 50$ GeV is disfavored by the joint constraints of the 125 GeV Higgs signal data, the relic density, XENON1T (2017), PandaX-II (2017) and the Fermi-LAT. Next, we consider a special scenario in which the heavy CP-even Higgs is taken as the 125 GeV Higgs. The light CP-even Higgs is the only portal between the DM and SM sectors, and the DM mass is slightly below Higgs resonance. We find that the signal data of the 125 GeV Higgs restrict $\tanβ$ to be in the range of $1\sim 1.5$ for $m_h<$ 62 GeV. The $gg\to A\to hZ$ and $b\bar{b}\to h \to τ^+τ^-$ channels at the LHC can impose lower limits and upper limits on $\tanβ$, respectively. For appropriate values of $\tanβ$, $λ_h$ and $m_h$, the DM with a mass of $10\sim 50$ GeV is allowed by the constraints of the Higgs searches at the LHC and dark matter experiments. For example, $\tanβ$ is restricted to be in the range of $1.0\sim1.5$ for 10 GeV $<m_s<$ 26 GeV, and $\frac{m_h}{2m_S}>$ 1.125 is excluded for 30 GeV $<m_S<$ 50 GeV.

In the framework of type-II two-Higgs-doublet model with a scalar dark matter ($S$), we examine the wrong sign Yukawa coupling of the 125 GeV Higgs which is the only portal between the dark matter and SM sectors. After imposing the constraints from the Higgs searches at the LHC and dark matter experiments, we obtain some interesting observables: (i) The theory, oblique parameters, and the Higgs searches at the LHC can impose stringent constraints on $\tanβ$ in the case of the wrong sign Yukawa coupling of the 125 GeV Higgs. For example, for $m_H=600$ GeV and 140 GeV $<m_A<200$ GeV, $\tanβ$ is required to be in the range of 4.2 and 5.7. (ii) Due to the contribution of $SS\to AA$ annihilation channel to the relic density, the dark matter coupling with the 125 GeV Higgs can be sizably suppressed. However, the $SS\to AA$ channel can not solve the tension between the relic density and the signal data of 125 GeV Higgs for $m_S < 50$ GeV. (iii) The limits of XENON1T (2017) and PandaX-II (2017) exclude most of samples in the ranges of 65 GeV $<m_S<$ 78 GeV, $0.8<f^n/f^p<1$, and $y_d/y_u>-0.82$. (iv) The Fermi-LAT limits exclude most of samples in the range of 62.5 GeV $<m_S <65$ GeV, including the samples with $f^n/f^p\sim -0.7$.

We investigate the form factors of $B_c$ meson into $S$-wave charmonium within the nonrelativistic QCD effective theory and obtain the next-to-leading order relativistic corrections to the form factors, where both the $B_c$ meson and the charmonium are treated as the nonrelativistic bound states. Treating the charm quark as a light quark in the limit \ $m_c/m_b\to 0$, some form factors are identical at the maximum recoil point, which are consistent with the predictions in the heavy-quark effective theory and the large-energy effective theory. Considering that the branching ratios of $B^+_c \to J/ψD_s^+$ and $B^+_c \to J/ψD_s^{*+}$ have been measured by the LHCb and ATLAS Collaborations recently, we employ the form factors of $B_c$ meson into $S$-wave charmonium at the next-to-leading order accuracy to these two decay channels and obtain more precise predictions of their decay rates. Numerical results indicate that the factorizable diagrams dominate the contribution in these two channels, while the colour-suppressed and the annihilation diagrams contribute less than 10 percent. Our results are consistent with the LHCb and ATLAS data.

We examine the parameter space of two-Higgs-doublet model of type-II after imposing the relevant theoretical and experimental constraints from the precision electroweak data, $B$-meson decays, the LHC run-I and run-II data. We find that the searches for Higgs via the $τ\barτ,~WW,~ZZ,γγ,~hh,~hZ,~HZ,~AZ$ channels can give strong constraints on the CP-odd Higgs $A$ and heavy CP-even Higgs $H$, and the parameter space excluded by each channel is respectively carved out in detail. The surviving samples are discussed in two different of regions: (i) In the SM-like coupling region of the 125 GeV Higgs, $m_A$ is allowed to be as low as 350 GeV, and $\tanβ$ is imposed a strong upper limit. $m_H$ is allowed to be as low as 200 GeV for the proper $\tanβ$, $\sin(β-α)$ and $m_A$, but is required to be larger than 300 GeV for $m_A=700$ GeV. (ii) In the wrong sign Yukawa coupling of the 125 GeV, $\tanβ$ and $\sin(β-α)$ can be imposed upper limits by $b\bar{b}\to A/H\to τ\barτ$ channel and lower limits by the $A\to hZ$ channel. $m_A$ and $m_H$ are respectively allowed to be as low as 60 GeV and 200 GeV, but 320 GeV $< m_A<$ 500 GeV is excluded for $m_H=$ 700 GeV.

We examine the $h\to μτ$ and muon g-2 in the exact alignment limit of two-Higgs-doublet model. In this case, the couplings of the SM-like Higgs to the SM particles are the same as the Higgs couplings in the SM at the tree level, and the tree-level lepton-flavor-violating coupling $hμτ$ is absent. We assume the lepton-flavor-violating $μτ$ excess observed by CMS to be respectively from the other neutral Higgses, $H$ and $A$, which almost degenerates with the SM-like Higgs at the 125 GeV. After imposing the relevant theoretical constraints and experimental constraints from the precision electroweak data, $B$-meson decays, $τ$ decays and Higgs searches, we find that the muon g-2 anomaly and $μτ$ excess favor the small lepton Yukawa coupling and top Yukawa coupling of the non-SM-like Higgs around 125 GeV, and the lepton-flavor-violating coupling is sensitive to another heavy neutral Higgs mass. In addition, if the $μτ$ excess is from $H$ around 125 GeV, the experimental data of the heavy Higgs decaying into $μτ$ favor $m_A>230$ GeV for a relatively large $H\bar{t}t$ coupling.

This 750 GeV resonance has a mixing with the CP-odd scalar ($A$) in 2HDM, which leads to a coupling between $P$ and the SM particles as well as a coupling between $A$ and the vector-like fermions. Such a mixing and couplings are strongly constrained by $τ\toμγ$, muon g-2 and the 750 GeV diphoton data. We scan over the parameter space and find that such an extension can simultaneously account for the observed excesses of 750 GeV diphoton, muon g-2 and $h\to μτ$. The 750 GeV resonance decays in exotic modes, such as $P\to hA$, $P\to HZ$, $P\to HA$ and $P\to W^\pm H^\mp$, and its width can be dozens of GeV and is sensitive to the mixing angle.

In order to accommodate the 750 GeV diphoton resonance, we extend the two-Higgs-doublet model by introducing additional Higgs fields, and focus on two different extensions, an inert complex Higgs triplet and a real scalar septuplet. With the 125 GeV Higgs being agreement with the observed data, the production rate for the 750 GeV diphoton resonance can be enhanced to 0.6 fb for the former and 4.5 fb for the latter. The results of the latter are well consistent with the 750 GeV diphoton excess at the LHC.

We discuss a scenario of the type-II 2HDM in which the $b\bar{b}γγ$ rate of the Higgs pair production is enhanced due to the two nearly degenerate 125 GeV Higgs bosons ($h$, $H$). Considering various theoretical and experimental constraints, we figure out the allowed ranges of the trilinear couplings of these two Higgs bosons and calculate the signal rate of $b\bar{b}γγ$ from the productions of Higgs pairs ($hh$, $hH$, $HH$) at the LHC. We find that in the allowed parameter space some trilinear Higgs couplings can be larger than the SM value by an order and the production rate of $b\bar{b}γγ$ can be greatly enhanced. We also consider a "decoupling" benchmark point where the light CP-even Higgs has a SM-like cubic self-coupling while other trilinear couplings are very small. With a detailed simulation on the $b\bar{b}γγ$ signal and backgrounds, we find that in such a "decoupling" scenario the $hh$ and $hH$ channels can jointly enhance the statistical significance to 5$σ$ at 14 TeV LHC with an integrated luminosity of 3000 fb$^{-1}$.

We study a recently developed product Abelian gauge field theory by Tong and Wong hosting magnetic impurities. We first obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a unique solution realizing such impurities in the form of multiple vortices. We next reformulate the theory into an extended model that allows the coexistence of vortices and anti-vortices. The two Abelian gauge fields in the model induce two species of magnetic vortex-lines resulting from $N_s$ vortices and $P_s$ anti-vortices ($s=1,2$) realized as the zeros and poles of two complex-valued Higgs fields, respectively. An existence theorem is established for the governing equations over a compact Riemann surface $S$ which states that a solution with prescribed $N_1, N_2$ vortices and $P_1,P_2$ anti-vortices of two designated species exists if and only if the inequalities \[ \left|N_1+N_2-(P_1+P_2)\right|<\frac{|S|}π,\quad \left|N_1+2N_2-(P_1+2P_2)\right|<\frac{|S|}π, \] hold simultaneously, which give bounds for the `differences' of the vortex and anti-vortex numbers in terms of the total surface area of $S$. The minimum energy of these solutions is shown to assume the explicit value \[ E= 4π(N_1+N_2+P_1+P_2), \] given in terms of several topological invariants, measuring the total tension of the vortex-lines.

Also the other relevant theoretical and experimental constraints are considered. We find that the pseudoscalar can be allowed to be as low as 10 GeV, but the corresponding $\tanβ$, $\sin(β-α)$ and the mass of charged Higgs are strongly constrained. In addition, the surviving samples favor the wrong-sign Yukawa coupling region, namely that the 125.5 GeV Higgs couplings to leptons have opposite sign to the couplings to gauge bosons and quarks.

With the motivation of eliminating the tension, we add a scalar dark matter to the aligned two-Higgs-doublet model, and focus on a simplified scenario, which has two main characteristics: (i) The heavy CP-even Higgs is the discovered 125 GeV Higgs boson, which has the same couplings to the gauge bosons and fermions as the SM Higgs. (ii) Only the light CP-even Higgs mediates the dark matter interactions with SM particles, which has no couplings to $WW$ and $ZZ$, but the independent couplings to the up-type quarks, down-type quarks and charged leptons. We find that the tension between $<σv>_{SS\to b\bar{b}}$ and the constraint from LUX induced by the scalar portal dark matter can go away for the isospin-violating dark matter-nucleon coupling with $-1.0< f^n/f^p<0.7$, and the constraints from the Higgs search experiments and the relic density of Planck are also satisfied.

The resonant structure of the reaction $\overline{B}^0\rightarrow J/ψπ^+π^-$ is studied using data from 3 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected by the LHCb experiment, one-third at 7 Tev center-of-mass energy and the remainder at 8 Tev. The invariant mass of the $π^+π^-$ pair and three decay angular distributions are used to determine the fractions of the resonant and non-resonant components. Six interfering $π^+π^-$ states: $ρ(770)$, $f_0(500)$, $f_2(1270)$, $ρ(1450)$, $ω(782)$ and $ρ(1700)$ are required to give a good description of invariant mass spectra and decay angular distributions. The positive and negative CP fractions of each of the resonant final states are determined. The $f_0(980)$ meson is not seen and the upper limit on its presence, compared with the observed $f_0(500)$ rate, is inconsistent with a model of tetraquark substructure for these scalar mesons at the eight standard deviation level. In the $q\overline{q}$ model, the absolute value of the mixing angle between the $f_0(980)$ and the $f_0(500)$ scalar mesons is limited to be less than $17^{\circ}$ at 90% confidence level.

Imposing the theoretical constraints from vacuum stability, unitarity and perturbativity as well as the experimental constraints from the electroweak precision data, flavor observables and the non-observation of additional Higgs at collider, we study the implications of available Higgs signals on a two-Higgs-doublet model with the alignment of the down-type quarks and charged lepton Yukawa coupling matrices. Compared to the four traditional types of two-Higgs-doublet models, the model has two additional mixing angles $θ_d$ and $θ_l$ in the down-type quark and charged lepton Yukawa interactions. We find that the mixing angle $θ_d$ can loose the constraints on $sin(β-α)$, $tanβ$ and $m_{H^{\pm}}$ sizably. The model can provide the marginally better fit to available Higgs signals data than SM, which requires the Higgs couplings with gauge bosons, $u\bar{u}$ and $d\bar{d}$ to be properly suppressed, and favors (1 <θ_d< 2, 0.5 <θ_l< 2.2) for $m_h=$ 125.5 GeV and (0.5 <θ_d< 2, 0.5 <θ_l< 2.2) for $m_H=$ 125.5 GeV. However, these Higgs couplings are allowed to have sizable deviations from SM for ($m_h=$ 125.5 GeV, 125.5 $\leq m_H\leq$ 128 GeV) and (125 GeV $\leq m_h\leq$ 125.5 GeV, $m_H=$ 125.5 GeV).

We study the implications of the LHC diphoton and Z+photon Higgs signals on the Higgs triplet model with Y=0. We discuss three different scenarios: (i) the observed boson is the light Higgs boson $h$; (ii) it is the heavy Higgs boson $H$; (iii) the observed signal is from the almost degenerate $h$ and $H$. We find that the inclusive Higgs diphoton rates in the first two scenarios can be enhanced or suppressed compared to the SM value, which can respectively fit the ATLAS and CMS diphoton data within $1σ$ range. The inclusive $ZZ^*$ rates are suppressed, which are outside $1σ$ range of ATLAS data and within $1σ$ range of CMS data. Meanwhile, another CP-even Higgs boson production rate can be suppressed enough not to be observed at the collider. For the third scenario, the Higgs diphoton rate is suppressed, which is outside $1σ$ range of ATLAS data, and the $ZZ^*$ rate equals to SM value approximately. In addition, we find that the two rates of $h\to γγ$ and $h\to Zγ$ have the positive correlations for the three scenarios.

Considering some typical models, namely the littlest Higgs model (LH), the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT-A and LHT-B) and the simplest little Higgs model (SLH), we scan over the parameter space in the region allowed by current experiments. We find that in these models…

We confront the little Higgs theory with the LHC Higgs search data (up to 17 fb$^{-1}$ of the combined 7 and 8 TeV run). Considering some typical models, namely the littlest Higgs model (LH), the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT-A and LHT-B) and the simplest little Higgs model (SLH), we scan over the parameter space in the region allowed by current experiments. We find that in these models the inclusive and exclusive (via gluon-gluon fusion) diphoton and $ZZ^*$ signal rates of the Higgs boson are always suppressed and approach to the SM predictions for a large scale $f$. Thus, the $ZZ^*$ signal rate is within the $1σ$ range of the experimental data while the inclusive diphoton signal rate is always outside the $2σ$ range. Especially, in the LHT-A the diphoton signal rate is outside the $3σ$ range of the experimental data for $f < 800$ GeV. We also perform a global $χ^2$ fit to the available LHC and Tevatron Higgs data, and find that these models provide no better global fit to the whole data set (only for some special channels a better fit can be obtained, specially in the LHT-B).

Abstract:
With a discrete $Z_2$ symmetry being imposed, we introduce a real singlet scalar $S$ to the Higgs triplet model with the motivation of explaining the tentative evidence for a spectral feature at $E_γ$ = 130 GeV in the Fermi LAT data. The model can naturally satisfy the experimental constraints of the dark matter relic density and direct detection data from Xenon100. The doubly charged and one char…

The doubly charged and one charged scalars can enhance the annihilation cross section of $SS\toγγ$ via the one-loop contributions, and give the negligible contributions to the relic density. $<\sigmav>_{SS\toγγ}$ for $m_{S}=130$ GeV can reach $\ord(1)\times10^{-27} cm^3 s^{-1}$ for the small charged scalar masses and the coupling constant of larger than 1. Besides, this model also predict a second photon peak at 114 GeV from the annihilation $SS\toγZ$, and the cross section is approximately 0.76 times that of $SS\toγγ$, which is below the upper limit reported by Fermi LAT. Finally, the light charged scalars can enhance LHC diphoton Higgs rate, and make it to be consistent with the experimental data reported by ATLAS and CMS.

The recent Higgs boson data and Higgs triplet model with vectorlike quarks
Authors:
Lei Wang,

Abstract:
Some vectorlike quarks are added to the Higgs triplet model with the motivation of fitting the recent Higgs boson data released by LHC and Tevatron collaborations. These vectorlike quarks can suppress the cross section of $gg\to h$ sizably, while the charged scalars, especially for the doubly charged scalar, can enhance $Br(h\to γγ)$ more sizably. Besides, the Higgs couplings to $WW$, $ZZ$ and lig…

Besides, the Higgs couplings to $WW$, $ZZ$ and light fermions can be the same as their SM values. Thus, the model will enhance the Higgs production rates into $γγ$ and $jjγγ$, while those for $WW^*$, $ZZ^*$ and $τ\barτ$ at the LHC are reduced relative to their SM predictions. The Higgs production rates into $Vb\bar{b}$ at the Tevatron are the same as the SM values.

In the quasi-inert Higgs doublet model, we study the LHC diphoton rate for a standard model-like Higgs boson and the top quark forward-backward asymmetry at Tevatron. Taking into account the constraints from the vacuum stability, unitarity, electroweak precision tests, flavor physics and the related experimental data of top quark, we find that compared with the standard model prediction, the diphoton rate of Higgs boson at LHC can be enhanced due to the light charged Higgs contributions, while the measurement of the top quark forward-backward asymmetry at Tevatron can be explained to within $1σ$ due to the non-standard model neutral Higgs bosons contributions. Finally, the correlations between the two observables are discussed.
