Patrick Davis
Patrick Davis was a member of the Albuquerque City Council in New Mexico, representing District 6. He assumed office in 2016. He left office on January 1, 2024.
Davis ran for re-election to the Albuquerque City Council to represent District 6 in New Mexico. He won in the general election on November 5, 2019.
Davis was a 2018 Democratic candidate for New Mexico's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House. He lost the primary election on June 5, 2018.
Biography
Davis previously worked as a police officer for the U.S. Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police in Washington, D.C. and the University of New Mexico Police Department. He earned a master's degree in criminal justice from New Mexico State University. Davis later changed careers to become a community organizer.[1][2]

The city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, held elections for city council on October 6, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run to run in this election was May 31, 2015. Four of the nine city council seats were up for election.[4]
In District 6, candidates included Patrick Davis, Samuel Kerwin and Hess "Hessito" Yntema. Davis defeated Kerwin and Yntema for the open seat. Incumbent Rey Garduño did not run for re-election.[5]
