2015

Davis' campaign website listed the following themes for the 2015 election:

Public safety

As your city councilor, I want to make safe communities a top priority by bringing back community-based programs like bicycle patrols and working to put more officers in our residential neighborhoods during the day when many of us are away at work or school.

And we should prioritize recruiting programs that recruit and train officers who want to live and work in our neighborhoods so they are invested in our future together.

Community policing starts by informing the community about crimes in the area. Let's start now. [6]

—Patrick Davis' campaign website, (2015), [2]
Smart growth and infrastructure

District 6 is the gateway for many into Albuquerque.

Central Avenue and the Zuni/Lead/Coal corridor cut through the heart of our district, bringing residents and tourists alike to our unique neighborhoods like the International District and Nob Hill.

Plans to beautify and improve Zuni Road and East Central, making it walkable and bikeable and more inviting for business, are underway. Working together, we can bring progress to East Central, Zuni and neighborhoods around the International District.

Residents along East Central need a community center and that's why plans for a library along East Central should be fast-tracked. An East Central library is a top priority for current city councilor Rey Garduño and I'll continue that work to see it through. [6]
