Brickset web services
Want to build a Facebook application for Brickset? Or an Android phone app? The Brickset Web Services API provide you with the means to do so.
First, you'll need a key
An API key is required to use the web services. Keys issued up to 22nd March 2020 are valid for version 2 only. Keys issued after this date are valid for version 3 only.
Initially, individual keys can be used to make up to 100 API calls a day (of the getSets method) which is perfect for testing and educational use. When your app or website is ready to go into production, contact us to request a higher cap, which we will do once we're happy with your usage.
API Version 3
Version 3 has now been completed and can now be used for production purposes. It is more robust and provides responses in JSON making it much easier to use.
